The Matagarup Bridge is a pedestrian bridge that perches over the Swan River on the eastern part of Perth and is definitely a must see while visiting the city. The design looks much like a roller coaster and is a great photo spot from either side of the river. One of the best location to see and walk across the bridge is definitely from the Opus Stadium. Parking is free at the stadium on non- event day, and is a short 3 minutes walk through the park to the bridge. There is even zipline on the bridge for those seeking some adrenaline rush! The City View Cafe is also a good place to be included in the itinerary while at the stadium. It is located just in front of water front park and has uninterrupted windows facing the river. It serves meals from 7am to 3pm daily and is a very affordable restaurant with delicious food for breakfast and lunch.
