A kind old lady tried to communicate with us, but we couldn't understand each other, so we used a translation app. She was very sweet and explained a lot about the city. On November 1st, I took the Kaishi Express from Shinjuku for about an hour and got off at Otsuki Station in Otsuki City, Yamanashi Prefecture. The view from the express train was a sea of ​​autumn leaves! The spectacular views were enough to blow away any sleepiness. This 634m high mountain is just a stone's throw from JR Chuo Main Line Otsuki Station. It's the same height as the Skytree. Dangosaka SA is famous on the Chuo Expressway, but personally I think I use Hatsukari PA more often. It's a small SA, but it has all the necessary facilities.
