5 days 4 nights Taiwan travel plan. Let's get started. 💐Day 1💐 The first thing to do when arriving in Taiwan is to withdraw money, buy a SIM card, and exchange a metro card. After finishing everything, it was 9:30 PM. We had to leave the airport quickly. It took about 1 hour to arrive at Taipei Main Station, but we had to hurry to find a luggage locker because they were all full. After leaving the locker, we rushed to Taipei 101. Almost didn't make it in time for the countdown. As soon as we exited the station, we stood there right away because there were so many people. We looked up for a full 5 minutes. It was so beautiful. Plus the cool weather, I love it💖 💐Day 2💐 8:00 Leave your bags at the Taipei Station baggage service center (NT$50 per day) 9:30 Go to Houtong Cat Village, it only takes an hour. There are only fat cats. Then we warped to a famous teahouse in Ruifang District. We couldn't walk much anymore. We'll sleep in Keelung tonight. The planned plan is gone. Sleepy until morning 555555 💐 Day 3 💐 7:30 Check out of the hotel 8:00 Arrive at Zhengbin Port Color Houses Rainbow Village, take some pictures, and then walk to Heping Island GeoPark. On the way, we found a very cheap restaurant. Both the vendors and the customers are very good at talking to each other and are very cute. 13:00 Return to Taipei Main Station 17:00 Check in to the hotel and rest at your leisure 19:00 Ximending Night Market We didn't return until 11:00 PM. When we got back to the room, we soaked in warm water to relieve our leg pain. 💐 Day 4 💐 11:00 Beitou Hot Spring Museum The weather was very nice. Let's walk around there for a bit. The library is very eye-catching. 13:00 Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall And of course, when you come here, you can't miss having the world's first bubble milk tea, Chun Shui Tang. I must say that you will not be disappointed. After eating, we continued on to 15:30 Taipei Zoo. By the time we arrived at the zoo, it was about to close. What a shame, we had already bought tickets. But never mind, we took the Maokong Gondola all the way up. So cold 🥶 18:00 Come back to eat at Shilin Night Market. Return to the room around midnight again. Walked a lot, almost died. Proud of choosing a hotel with a bathtub 💐 Day 5 💐 Is it the last day? Maokong Cable Car is located in Taipei City, Taiwan. It is the first cable car system in the city. It was opened in 2007. It is about 4 kilometers in length and takes about 30 minutes one way. The cable car was designed by a French company and has four main stations: Zoo Station, Zoo South Station, Zhanzhi Palace Station and Maokong Station, connecting downtown Taipei and Maokong area. We rode the Maokong Gondola on our last night in Taipei. After visiting the zoo next door, we went to the gondola station and tapped in with our easy card, which automatically gives a 20NT discount. There was an additional discount for rides up after 4pm, so our first journey up only cost 30NT. We rode the crystal cabin (aka “Eyes of Maokong”) which has a transparent bottom. This time I took the Maokong Gondola and had a 50 yuan discount on the ticket because I had a vaccination certificate. The cable car is about 4 kilometers long and takes about 20 to 30 minutes to ride. There are four stations for passengers to get on and off: "Zoo Station", "Zoo South Station", "Zoo Zhinan Palace Station" and "Maokong Station". The Maokong Gondoloa was a beautiful way to visit tge mountain-top tea houses. We took the cable car from Taipei Zoo station. We did a hike in some of the trails. There is no proper map available showing details of the trails. But at least we experienced. #happynewyear

Taipei's most worthwhile aerial project: "Cat Air Cable Car"! The first cable car in the city of Taipei includes sitting in a carriage for about 17 minutes. There are two types of cable cars. The ordinary cable cars and the crystal cable cars. The bottoms of the crystal cable cars are fully transparent tempered glass, allowing you to see through it. You can have a cool view of the mountains. The crystal car can be reversed, but it still needs to wait for about 10 of the ordinary cable cars to come along.  When the sky is clear, you can see the Taipei 101 building in the city centre from the cable car. It is recommended to go during the day time, not only to enjoy the beautiful pastoral trails, but also to see the blue sky and white clouds! After the cable cars came up, the tea houses on Maokong Mountain became a favourite of the Taipei people. The smaller and larger sightseeing tea gardens around it became the most special leisure time on this hill. 

I took the ropeway from Zoo Station, about 30 minutes by subway from Taipei Station, to Maokong 🚡 The ropeway gets crowded on weekends, but on weekdays I was able to get on with a 10-minute wait^^ When you arrive at Maokong Station, you can enjoy a wonderful view because it is high up in the mountains✨ There are several shops nearby where you can enjoy oolong tea soft serve ice cream with cat-shaped tea cookies, and it was more delicious than I expected, so if you like tea, please try it🍦 A short walk from there, there are many tea shops, so if you find a good one and go in, you can enjoy authentic Chinese tea with a great view🍵 It seems a little expensive at around 3,000 yen, but you can take home any tea leaves you don't finish drinking (or don't use), so I don't think it's expensive considering the location✨ The air and view are great, and you can spend the most blissful time, so if you're traveling to Taipei for the second time or more and want to go somewhere nearby, this is a recommended spot♪ #Overseas seasonal places

Traveling by gondola is really great. It's not too high, the atmosphere is nice, and you get a wide view. The food up there is reasonably priced, and the scenery is beautiful with plenty of photo spots. The gondola is comfortable, and the staff manage things quite well. The snacks are delicious, and the savory food has its own unique style. It doesn't take long, and there are 4 stations to stop at. The price is reasonable.

Getting There - go all the way to the Brown Line to get to the Taipei Zoo Station, from there it’s just a 5 min walk going to Maokong Gondola station. #hiddengems In Taipei, we decided to take the Maokong gondola to explore all the way up to where the tea plantations are located. We chose the glass bottomed gondola over the normal one as it was slightly more expensive but the experience was alot more worthwhile. While most of the shops were closed as we went there close to the Chinese New Year period, there were fortunately a few smaller shops available for a quick snack of soybean drink and glutinous rice mochi.
