Beautiful countryside, Hakka culture, and delicious food all in Shaoguan's Hongli Village
In his poem, Tao Yuanming wrote, "Long caged in a cage, I have returned to nature," expressing the infinite beauty of rural life. More than a thousand years later, people still regard this poem as a treasure, especially those living in cities. Going to the countryside to breathe fresh air and see the vibrant greenery on weekends or holidays is a popular lifestyle today. 🌿🌿🌿
Located in northern Guangdong, Shaoguan is a tourist virgin land that has not been overdeveloped and has simple folk customs. It is the first choice for rural tourism routes for people living in the fast-paced life of the Pearl River Delta. Hongli Village in Shixing County, Shaoguan, is getting deeper and deeper on the road to beautiful countryside. My friends who love to travel invited me to start a two-day trip. 😎😎😎
Although it takes more than 5 hours to drive from Guangzhou and Shenzhen to Hongli Village in Shaoguan, the road conditions are good, and the scenery is nice. Changing drivers and singing along the way, the journey is not tiring. When we drove into Hongli Village, we were suddenly enlightened. This is a model of a beautiful countryside. The natural landscape and cultural buildings are enough for us to explore. Moreover, the village is holding a tourism carnival, and the villagers are singing and dancing with singers and acrobats. 🥳🥳🥳
The sense of ceremony at the opening ceremony was quite interesting. It was carried out in the form of "opening pomelo." It seems that the specialty of the village is not pears but pomelos. The outstanding specialties are peanuts and yams. There are also fusion cuisines that combine Hakka and Jiangxi flavors, and the national key cultural relic protection unit, Mantangwei, is worth exploring. It is the right time to go to Shixing. 🚘🚘🚘
