Our family's trip to Manila Zoo was an adventure! The entrance was bustling, a vibrant mix of families and excited children. We started with the primates – the playful monkeys were a highlight, swinging effortlessly through their enclosures. The orangutans were surprisingly relaxed, almost seeming to pose for photos. The big cats, though impressive, felt a little subdued, perhaps due to the heat. The aviary was a sensory explosion of colorful birdsong and vibrant plumage. We spent a good amount of time there, simply enjoying the spectacle. The reptile house was fascinating, though perhaps a bit dimly lit. My youngest was a little scared of the snakes, but the colorful lizards captivated her attention. The zoo's layout was easy to navigate, with clear signage, though some of the enclosures could benefit from upgrades. Overall, it was a fun and educational day out, a great way to spend quality time as a family while learning about different animals. We grabbed some snacks from the food stalls inside – nothing fancy, but it did the job. We left feeling happy and slightly exhausted, but with a wealth of animal memories to cherish.
