Malaga, Andalusia Spain. As a child I came here so many times with my parents and this city has always felt very special to me, it’s such a beautiful part of Spain and perfect for a weekend away. The city centers on beautiful shopping streets lined with marble where little alley ways take you away to cafes, markets and churches. The cathedral is an imposing feature that towers above the smaller side streets around it, you can go in to take in the sheer scale of the building. The central market is a buzz of activity with all the fresh produce you could need, the streets surrounding it are a network of cafes, restaurants and patisseries. The main shopping street contains all the big western brands you could need, as well as local craft shops and souvenir stands. There are also lots of malls and a big El Corte Ingles within a 15 minute walk of the city center if you’re after more shopping. The city has two main stations, one for high speed rail across Spain and one for the commuter rail towards Torremolinos. The commuter rail is very cheap and efficient and a good way to explore the little towns and cities along the coast. #tripblazers #Spain #Malaga #andalucia #summervacation

Malaga ; it was such a great place overall. The architecture, foods, people, weather and what else could you ask for? I went there with hijab on, I feel safe and comfortable. There’s so many things to do, you can enjoy the sunset, go to beach, kayaking, museums trip and so on. It was also a budget friendly and accept card, best place to visit!

The history of Málaga, shaped by the city's location in southern Spain on the western shore of the Mediterranean Sea, spans about 2,800 years, making it one of the oldest cities in the world very easy to get around by bus for €1.44, you can get from the airport to the city centre food and beer is very reasonable price. Very easy to get around. Everything is pretty much walking distance. The weather was amazing like 20° as they had a heatwave. Was there for a few days definitely worth going. The restaurant is quite popular in Malaga especially during the weekends! The vibe is good and the food price is reasonable!
Meatball is freshly made with tomato sauce. The fries and bread with the sauce taste good! 
Green pepper is more than what I have in London and price is 1/3 of London restaurant. The crispy skin is tasty! 
Prawn skewer is the brilliant choice as well and the seafood is so fresh in Malaga!
3 dishes and 1 coke for €11.9.
So cheap and so impressive!

It’s been a while since I last posted about Spain 🇪🇸 This time I’m bringing you down south in Málaga ♥️ We drove from Seville to Màlaga took us about 2.5 hours and the view was spectacular ☀️ Arriving there around sunset, we found a very local seafood restaurant 📍Ankará ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ we’ve ordered the mussels and fries 🍽️ coquettes 😋and calamari 🐙 Because it’s close to the sea, everything is so fresh and delicious 🤤 We parked the car in the centre, it’s a bit difficult to find free parking, therefore, we chose one of the paid parking in the centre by the attractions. 📍Catedral de la Encarnación de Málaga This cathedral is magnificent and huge ✝️ You can walk around it or pay to enter ( around £7 from the official website) 📍Ascensor a la Alcazaba 🏜️ I would say this is a MUST for tourists. You will see a Roman theatre🏟️ on the way to the ticket office🎫. They accept card payment💳 ( I don’t remember the price but probably £19 per person and they have different types of tickets if you want to go high up in the mountain is more expensive ) The view from the top is absolutely stunning ✨ You can see the port on the edge and the old theatre. 📍 Málaga Park ⛲️ In Spain around summer can reach 30 degrees 🔥and if you’d like to take a break from the heat, Málaga Park is a good option. You can walk along the park from the central city - pass by the Ascensor a la Alcazaba to the 📍Centre Pompidou Málaga. 📍Centre Pompidou Málaga 🗺️ There is a French museum although we didn’t enter it but the outside like really unique, look like a colourful rubik's cube 🧊 Some people will join the cruise day trip 🛳️there but we have very limited time so instead we just walk around the promenade and it literally gives you a Miami vibe looking at the palm trees 🌴 End of the walk, there is a lighthouse ⚓️ which I found quite peaceful, so, of course, we took a pint by the lighthouse and take lots of photos 📸 Follow for more - the next post is about 📍 Velilla- Granada, Spain 🇪🇸 #spain #malagaspain #holiday #holiday #roadtrip #summer

Beatas, 15, 29008 Málaga, España Opening hours 🕰️: Monday 10:00-16:00, Tuesday to Sunday 10:00- 19:00 Ticket fee 🎟️: for visiting the museum it’s just €5, but if you want to watch a 45-minute traditional Spanish flamingo dance show, you just add €5, so it’s a good deal, and the show was great! What’s there 👀: there are different halls of exhibitions by the categories of the instruments (strings, wind, wood…etc.) and in each hall there are selected instruments for visitors to touch and play. #museu #Music #Malaga #spain #Musicinstruments
