Tickets are free and transportation is convenient. If you start from the city center, you can take Metro Line 3 to Gudang Metro Station, then walk to Laohe Yunqi Archway to start the climb. Passing Laohe Mountain, Qinting Mountain, Jiangjun Mountain and Meinu Mountain, we arrived at the Majiawu Observation Deck, then went down the mountain from the observation deck to Majiawu Village, and finally walked to the Gudun Road subway station. The total distance was 6 kilometers and it took 3 hours. During this trip, you will first climb a long section of Laohe Mountain, then walk along the ridge line. The road is relatively flat. When you reach the Majiawu Observation Deck, the view suddenly becomes broad, and all the fatigue along the way is blown away by gusts of mountain breeze. The entire observation deck is a 100-meter-long suspended plank road winding around the treetops, offering an almost 360-degree panoramic view of the entire Hangzhou. When the weather is clear, the entire West Lake can be seen. The plank road leading down the mountain was newly built. It seemed that it intentionally kept a distance from the forest, but it also made people feel as if they were closer to the forest. Many people feel that Hangzhou lacks the atmosphere of liveliness. I think the atmosphere of a city does not necessarily have to be reflected in the hot barbecue stalls, but can also be reflected in quiet fitness activities such as mountain climbing and hiking. Tips: There are 3 other ways to reach the Majiawu Observation Deck, namely, 1. Go up the mountain from Majiawu Village, 2. Go up the mountain from Fahua Temple, and 3. Take the cable car up the mountain from Beigaofeng. The most convenient way is to take the cable car to the top of Beigao Peak, visit the No. 1 Temple of the God of Wealth in the World, turn right and go down the mountain to the observation deck, which only takes about 20 minutes. There are no shops along the way or on the mountain, so be sure to bring some water and snacks with you.

A must-visit for those seeking wealth🙏🏻 There are many cultural and creative shops and snack bars outside Fahuasi Temple to replenish your energy! ❗❗Tips 1️⃣There are no 🚾 from Majiawu to the viewing platform, but there are 🚻 in Majiawu Village and Beigao Peak. 2️⃣For parking, you can navigate to the Zhejiang Industrial Design Creative Park, 20 RMB with no time limit, a 5-minute walk to the Majiawu archway. 3️⃣About 1km from Dongyue Station or Gudun Road Station. 4️⃣There are places to eat in Majiawu Village and Fahuasi Temple to replenish your energy. 5️⃣You can return the same way from Majiawu to the viewing platform. The route can also be reversed, but the steps from Fahuasi Temple → Beigao Peak are steep.

As a tourist from out of town, if time permits, and if you want to see the panoramic view of Hangzhou, then Majiawu Viewing Platform is definitely a high ground worth occupying. 🕐️Opening Hours: Open all day for free. 🚗Transportation Strategy: The most convenient way to reach Majiawu Viewing Platform is to take a taxi to the entrance of Majiawu. There is no direct subway access, and it is not convenient for self-driving parking. 💗Other tips: 1. Majiawu Viewing Platform offers an overlook of the entire Hangzhou, so if you are here for a hiking trip, it is best to come during the spring and autumn seasons. If you are here for the view, it is recommended to come during the early morning or evening, and you must choose a day with good visibility. Whether it's sunrise, sunset, clouds, or lights, it's all beautiful. I arrived at the mountain entrance an hour before sunset, and reached the top just in time for the sunset (pics 7.8.9). 2. Take a taxi to the entrance of Majiawu residential area (pic 2), then walk straight along the road directly opposite the main gate of the residential area to the end and turn left (about 200 meters in total), and you will see the entrance to the viewing platform. There is a small stream at the entrance, and the water is clear to the bottom. 3. From the entrance to the viewing platform, there are stone steps and wooden walkways (pic 3), and the climbing difficulty is not high, taking about half an hour in total. But don't rush too much when climbing, be steady and sure-footed, otherwise, it will still be tiring. 4. If there are a lot of people taking pictures of the sunset at the viewing platform, you can go down a few steps, the effect is the same. Or you should go early to secure a good spot. 5. There is a supermarket at the entrance of the mountain. There are also individuals selling mineral water and ice cream on the way up the mountain and at the viewing platform, which are definitely more expensive than at the foot of the mountain, because it is also hard to carry them up. 6. If you continue walking from the viewing platform, you can reach the top of Beishan. I saw the road signs, but I didn't go because it was already dark 7. There are no street lights on the way down from the viewing platform, I descended the mountain with the last bit of daylight. Some tourists used their mobile phones to light the way. 8. I didn't see any restrooms from the entrance to the viewing platform, or maybe I just didn't find them, so it's best to take care of that beforehand. 9. There are many mosquitoes on the mountain in summer, bring some mosquito repellent.

Starting point: Majiawu Bus Station - Nafu Yuntai - Botanical Garden - Qingzhiwu Duration: 2h It is recommended to use public transportation, as there will be traffic control on weekends for hiking, and cars can only drive to the intersection of Xixi Road and Lingxi North Road. You have to walk to the signboard under Majiawu, go straight to the end and turn left, then you can see the road leading up the mountain. The beginning is a stone step path, followed by stairs, and it takes 20 minutes to reach the top where you can have a 360-degree view of the West Lake~ I didn't feel particularly hot along the way, but I went early, and it was quite hot at noon. The difficulty is super low, beginner-friendly, starting from the steps, it takes about 20 minutes to walk slowly to the top! Then head towards the Botanical Garden! When entering the Botanical Garden, you need to buy a ticket, but it's free with a park annual pass. If you don't have one, you can get one, the annual pass is 50 (renewal is 40), and the part entering the Botanical Garden is really beautiful with very few people! It has a kind of 'The Wizard of Oz' vibe
