Wax Museum
Madame Tussuads is the wax museum in Bangkok. There are lots of famous people all around the world that you can see, some tv shows, and politicians. There are only few people when we visit there, it is walking distance from Sealife Bangkok. I highly recommended this place since you will learn a lot from these people. You can read their history, achievements, talents, and contributions in the society. We only took 30 mins for us before we finish visiting every wax figure. All I can say is it was all worth it.

Can you distinguish between true and false?
This museum is located in a shopping center in Bangkok, with various famous wax figures from all over the world. What surprised and proud me is that the museum displays the wax figure of Mr. Sukarno, the first president of Thailand. There are not many people inside, and you need to pay 950.00 Thai baht to get in. They offer a movie, but I didn't have time to watch.

A Gem in the Heart of Bangkok: Ibis Bangkok S
#visitbangkok
My recent stay at the Ibis Bangkok Sukhumvit 24 was nothing short of delightful. The room was impeccably clean and tidy, providing a comfortable and welcoming space to unwind after a day of exploring the city.
The check-in process was quick and hassle-free, a testament to the efficiency and professionalism of the hotel staff. Speaking of the staff, the bartender deserves a special mention. His expertise, coupled with his infectious smile, made each visit to the bar a memorable experience.
The location of the hotel is a major plus. Nestled in the heart of Bangkok, it's just a 2-minute walk to the BTS Metro, making it incredibly convenient for city exploration and commuting.
However, one minor area for improvement would be the addition of balconies in the rooms. It would have been nice to step out and soak in the fresh Bangkok air right from the comfort of my room.
Overall, Ibis Bangkok Sukhumvit 24 offers a fantastic blend of comfort, service, and location. I would highly recommend it to anyone planning a trip to Bangkok."
I hope this review captures your experience accurately. If you have any changes or additions, feel free to let me know!
Explore Madame Tussauds Wax Museum at Siam Center.
Madame Tussauds Bangkok, as the leading wax museum in Southeast Asia, is located on the 6th floor of the popular Siam Discovery. Here, there are wax figures of politicians and celebrities from various countries, showcasing the charm and history of global and Thai culture. The Thai Royal Hall of the museum also displays wax figures of princes and princesses, providing a deeper understanding of the Thai royal family. In addition, there are also some cartoon character wax figures for children, such as the protagonist Doraemon from the classic Japanese manga, making it a great place for family fun.
Everything here makes people feel like they are there, like answering a phone call on the desk of US President Obama, sparring with kung fu superstar Bruce Lee, entering the plot of TV dramas with celebrities like Ken and Anne... Tourists can get up close and personal with every wax figure here and take photos together. The wax museum also displays wax figures of many famous Thai personalities such as Prince Chakrabongse Bhuvanath, Prince Kritsada Kridakorn, and Tata Young.
Travel suggestion: Unlike the hot weather in Bangkok, as soon as you enter Siam Discovery, you will feel like it's autumn or winter here because the air conditioning is very cold. It is recommended to bring a thin jacket when visiting. Near the exit after the wax museum shop, there is a wax museum shop where you can buy many unique and stylish souvenirs, including various wax figurines, Q-version dolls, crystal balls, and 3D stereoscopic photos. The prices are not cheap, but if you like them, you can buy some as souvenirs. Madame Tussauds Wax Museum is open daily from 10:00 to 21:00. Adult tickets: 700 baht/person, children under 12 years old: 500 baht/person. Transportation: BTS Skytrain, National Stadium Station, Exit 3.

Travel Tips
1. When coming out of the airport, if there are two or more people, it is recommended to take a taxi, preferably to the 4th floor. One person can choose to take a bus.
2. For those who don't have local currency, they can withdraw cash with UnionPay card on the 4th floor of the airport. The maximum amount per transaction is 20,000 baht, and the handling fee varies among different banks. It is recommended to consult the issuing bank before traveling.
3. When traveling, try to choose rail transit as much as possible, which can save a lot of time. The cost is relatively high for the tickets. If there is no light rail or subway in the destination, try to take a taxi or TUKTUK from the nearest station.
4. Try to take green or yellow taxis as they are more likely to use the meter. Red taxis usually refuse to use the meter. When taking a TUKTUK, negotiate the price beforehand if you have a rough idea of the distance, otherwise you may end up paying more.
5. Near the Temple of the Reclining Buddha and the Grand Palace, try not to talk to strangers as they may approach you pretending not to understand English and trick you into going to other small temples or shopping areas, leading to being deceived. There is a sign at the entrance of the Temple of the Reclining Buddha that reads "OPEN EVERY DAY."
6. If you choose to experience the waterway to the Grand Palace, be careful not to board the tourist boat at the pier. You should board the ferry with orange or yellow flags. Someone will collect the money when you board the ferry, which costs 13B per person and you will receive a ticket.
7. Bangkok has many large shopping malls, mostly concentrated around Siam and Ratchaprasong stations. There is a long pedestrian bridge connecting the two stations, so you don't have to cross the road and won't be exposed to the sun. Just like in Hong Kong, you can see the popular Erawan Shrine on the bridge. If you are a fan of shopping, it is recommended to reserve one to two full days for shopping, as it can be very tiring.
Fun experience being around wax figures!
Of the many branches, the Madame Tussauds Museum that I have visited is the one in Hong Kong and Bangkok. It was a fun experience being around wax figures of your fave personalities. Did you know that each wax figures made at the Madame Tussauds Museum requires at least 250 measurements and photo shoots? And over a ton of wax and over 45,000 USD to pay 20 artists working hundreds of hours! All wax figures at the Madame Tussauds Museum are made twice as large as the original, as the wax will melt/shrink during the entire process.
I was really lucky, when the wax figure of singer Anggun Cipta was unveiled at Madame Tussauds Bangkok in 2016, I had the opportunity to attend the grand launching. In fact, i got a super rare chance to take pictures together with the wax figure + the real person Anggun herself too! What an unforgettable experience!
PS: It's better if you book the ticket online and come earlier too, so you can have lot of time to strike a pose with your idol from many angles!
