Lyecum Theatre is one of the oldest and most splendid theatres in the West End and has undergone several renovations and reconstructions, but the iconic Greek-style colonnade has remained the same as it was built in 1834. Don't look at the theater in the West End now, but it was abandoned for decades until it reopened in 1996, when Prince Charles, who was still a prince at the time, attended the grand opening ceremony. It has been nearly 30 years since the popular Disney classic musical "The Lion King" was staged at the Lyceum Theater in 1999.

A night in the west end
A trip to London really isn’t complete without a visit to a west end theatre. Get yourself dressed up , go for a pre theatre drink and bite to eat and finally take your seat for a night of magic and spectacular. You are spoilt for choice in the English capital but you really can’t go wrong with the Lion King which has been running at the fantastic Lyceum theatre for over 2 decades now and still plays to full houses every night. #magicalxmastrip #london #theatre
