[2025 Singapore Restaurant] Travel Guide for LUNA (Updated Feb)

#singaporetrip Rather than their previous dainty Scandinavian decor, the new outlet sports a grunge-style minimalist interior design with intentionally ‘damaged’ concrete walls and marble tables. Kinda looks like the contractors didn’t complete the job, but we’re digging the apocalyptic vibes. Here, you’ll find all their classics such as the 𝗢𝗿𝗵 𝗡𝗲𝗲. 🍰 Aside from those, they also released their latest collection called ‘New Frontiers’ here, featuring stunning desserts like 𝗧𝗼𝗳𝘂 and 𝗖𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘀 𝗖𝗵𝗼𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲. The Tofu looks exactly like how a silken tofu would be. Surprisingly, it’s as soft as tofu too with a silken tofu hazelnut praline. Oddly tasted like a vanilla-flavoured soya beancurd. 👏🏻 The 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗣𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗰𝗮𝗸𝗲 isn’t as heavy as an ordinary cheesecake, and tasted more of apples than peach. 🍎 Coffee here wasn’t great, but it might be because we were early and the barista was still calibrating. Overall, pretty and delicious desserts, but pricey especially since there’s service charge as well. 🤔 #travel #cafe

This time I get to try their 𝐏𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐨 𝐇𝐚𝐳𝐞𝐥𝐧𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭 ( $𝟗, 𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐭: 𝟖.𝟓/𝟏𝟎 ) & 𝐆𝐨𝐦𝐚 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐏𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐭 𝐛𝐮𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐤𝐞 ( $𝟗, 𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐭: 𝟖/𝟏𝟎 ) I love both of these sweet treats! I love how buttery the tart shell were, pairing well with their strong nutty and fragrant pistachio that mixed well with the hazelnut that wasn’t too sweet! Their goma peanut butter spongecake was also a must get! The distinctive fragrance of the nutty black sesame is strong and balanced the the peanut butter paste well!! I also love how light, soft and fluffy the chiffon cake was!! #cafe #food

#newyearnewtrip Visit lucine by LUNA at triple one Somerset! The cakes there are both aesthetic and delicious! They serve all day breakfast there as well. Suitable as a place to chill with friends for a tea break or brunch! The cake I had were blossom and pistachio roulade, both of these are in listed in their 5 best selling cakes in the cafe! Do try the Orh nee cake if you are an Orh nee lover!

#wheretogo As a dessert lover, me and my girl had to check out this space that is well know for its aesthetically pleasing cakes. We were spoiled for choices as each cake was crafted like pieces of artwork displayed in the cake counter. We ordered the popular Orh Nee cake and the Honey Yogurt Walnut. For the Orh Nee Cake, the cake was spongy and fluffy. It really tasted like orh nee. The taste is light on the palette and not too sweet but we both thought it was a bit on the dry side. We prefer the honey yogurt walnut. It’s made up of three layers- a pâte à choux filled with bright lemon curd and crunchy roasted walnut bits, light yogurt mousse encased in a thin pebble-looking shell. On top of it was a piece of gold-dusted chocolate honeycomb which makes it extremely instagrammable. The overall flavour was balanced, sweet and tangy. #cakelovers #sweettooth
