Small and Humble Candi Lumbung awaits you!
Exploring Candi Lumbung in Yogyakarta was a captivating journey into Java's rich history.
As I walked around the ancient temple complex, I was mesmerized by the intricate carvings adorning its weathered stones. The serene atmosphere transported me back in time, evoking a sense of wonder and reverence for the craftsmanship of its builders. Standing beside these ruins, I could not help but marvel at the ingenuity of the architectural design which seamlessly integrated with the natural surroundings. Each corner revealed new details, sharing with us the stories and beliefs of the past.
Despite the passage of centuries, Candi Lumbung's beauty remains timeless, leaving an indelible impression on my soul. I would highly recommend all travellers to Yogyakarta to take some time and visit this place!

I am excited to go shopping tax-free in Hong Kong's (bye bye 9% GST hahaha). I'm particularly eager to browse the unique boutiques at Police Married Quarters, go window shopping at the vintage stores of Cat Street, and explore the trendy shops in Sheung Wan! Hopefully I can win the tickets so that I can shop till I drop!

Lumbung temple
#indonesiatrip Lumbung Temple (Candi Lumbung) is a Buddhist temple located in Central Java, Indonesia. It is part of the Prambanan Temple Compounds, a UNESCO World Heritage site, which includes several other temples such as Prambanan, Sewu, and Bubrah temples.
Candi Lumbung dates back to the 9th century and features a main stupa surrounded by 16 smaller stupas arranged in a square layout. The temple's architecture reflects the Buddhist influence in the region during that period. Although not as large or well-known as the nearby Prambanan Temple, Candi Lumbung is an important historical and cultural site, offering insight into the religious diversity and architectural styles of ancient Java.
The temple is often visited by tourists exploring the Prambanan Temple Complex, providing a quieter and more intimate experience compared to the larger temples in the area.
