#Louvre Museum Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
The historic record Louvre museum 🇫🇷
The second day in Paris. We visited to the popular Louvre museum where the masterpieces of art have been discovered.
To visit every site room inside the museum, it could take at least 4 hrs. We lined up around 1 hr to take a picture with Monalisa 😂
Mostly, the historical arts room such as Italian, French are crowded. Quite a few people who like modern art rooms like Spanish art.
The museum is always busy, so make sure to make online reservation before tickets are sold out.

Louvre: The mysterious veil of the world's top four museums
The Louvre, located on the north bank of the Seine in the center of Paris, France, is the first of the world's four major museums. It was founded in 1204 and was originally the palace of France, where 50 French kings and queens lived, and is now the Louvre Museum. The Louvre is famous for its rich collection of classical paintings and sculptures, and houses the Venus de Milo, the Mona Lisa, and the Winged Victory of Samothrace, known as the three treasures of the world.
To optimize your visit experience, here are some practical visit strategies: First, the Louvre extends its opening hours to 9:45 pm every Tuesday and Thursday night. Second, you can choose to book tickets online to avoid queuing. In addition, the Louvre offers rental services for guides in multiple languages, which can help you better understand the historical background and artistic value of the exhibits. Finally, it is recommended that you plan your visit route in advance to avoid areas with high traffic, such as the main building, ancient Greek and Roman exhibition halls, etc.
THE AMAZING LOUVRE.
The Louvre (English: /ˈluːv(rə)/ LOOV(-rə)),[4] or the Louvre Museum (French: Musée du Louvre [myze dy luvʁ] ⓘ), is a national art museum in Paris, France. It is located on the Right Bank of the Seine in the city's 1st arrondissement (district or ward) and home to some of the most canonical works of Western art, including the Mona Lisa and the Venus de Milo. The museum is housed in the Louvre Palace, originally built in the late 12th to 13th century under Philip II. Remnants of the Medieval Louvre fortress are visible in the basement of the museum. Due to urban expansion, the fortress eventually lost its defensive function, and in 1546 Francis I converted it into the primary residence of the French Kings

A Whirlwind Adventure in Paris
May in Paris has been an exhilarating whirlwind. Work has been non-stop, keeping me on my toes throughout this crazy month, but hey, it's all part of the thrill, right? My long-awaited trip to Paris was originally scheduled before the global pandemic hit, but I had to postpone it until now. And let me tell you, this city has exceeded my expectations.
Paris, the city of lights, has a certain charm that I couldn't have imagined. It's not as intimidating as I thought, it's even better! A special shoutout to all the enticing shops that I received messages from, although I couldn't make it to all of them in time. Time flies, and it's already been five days since I arrived. Initially, I thought I had an abundance of time, but Paris has captivated me completely.
In this city, beauty is found in every corner, despite the occasional trash you might come across. And the food, oh my, it's simply divine! The waiting times for popular spots may test your patience, but the experience is truly out of this world. Shopping is a pure joy, except for the elusive Chanel - always sold out by the time you're ready to splurge. However, Celine is an absolute dream, offering a delightful range of options.
The museums here are an absolute treat. I'm loving their stunning organization. Paintings and artworks command your attention, with one in particular capturing my soul. It's a moment you'll cherish forever.
Leaving Paris is bittersweet, but I'll be back in a heartbeat. This city has left an indelible impression and ignited a wanderlust that won't settle until I return. Paris, until we meet again, au revoir.

The Immersive Experience of Louvre Museum
Louvre Museum. I'm totally into this museum, but my legs are dragging me down. It's a world-renowned museum in the heart of Paris, showcasing an extraordinary collection of artworks from around the globe. The museum takes you on a journey through different periods of history, revealing fascinating insights into civilization, religion, and art.
As you walk through the ornate galleries, you'll feel like you're walking through time itself. From ancient Egyptian artifacts to Greek sculptures to French masterpieces, the Louvre Museum has it all. One of the highlights of the museum is undoubtedly the Mona Lisa by Leonardo da Vinci, a painting that never fails to mesmerize viewers.
But with such an extensive collection, it's easy to get lost in the museum's labyrinthine halls. My tip is to download the Louvre's app and plan your visit beforehand. This way, you can easily navigate the museum and avoid the crowds.
A visit to the Louvre Museum is an immersive experience like no other, one that will ignite your curiosity and leave you in awe of the beauty and intricacy of the world's finest art pieces. Don't forget to take a moment to soak in the surroundings, and you might just discover an unexpected masterpiece that takes your breath away.

Louvre Museum Paris ❤️
#fallingseason
My autumn visit to the Louvre Museum in Paris was an extraordinary journey through art and history amidst the city's fall splendor. Located in the heart of the French capital, the Louvre's iconic glass pyramid and the surrounding courtyard were adorned with colorful leaves, creating a picturesque setting.
Exploring the museum's vast collection, from the Mona Lisa's enigmatic smile to the majestic Winged Victory of Samothrace, was even more enchanting against the backdrop of autumn's warm hues. The museum's serene courtyards and gardens, like the Cour Carrée and the Jardin des Tuileries, were perfect for peaceful contemplation amidst the crisp air.
Visiting the Louvre in the fall offered a unique blend of cultural immersion and natural beauty, making it an unforgettable experience that deepened my appreciation for both art and the changing seasons. #france #paris
Early bird catches the worm
Visit the Louvre Museum early in the morning to capture a nice photo without the crazy crowd. You can rest and watch the beautiful architecture around the area and visit the gardens for the cooling morning walk. Have. coffee and breakfast at the nearby cafes and come back when the museum opens. Be sure to go underground for a shorter queue to enter and enjoy the museum. #louvremuseum #paris
The art of Louvre architecture
The Louvre Museum, known as the Musée du Louvre in French, is not only a repository of world-class art but also a masterpiece of architectural evolution. This iconic Parisian institution is housed within a historic palace that has witnessed centuries of transformation, reflecting the shifting tides of French history, culture, and art.
Over the years, the Louvre became a royal residence, hosting various monarchs, including Louis XIV. His expansion of the palace further solidified its status as a symbol of royal power and opulence. The exquisite Palace of Versailles was also born from his vision for grandeur.
In more recent times, the Louvre's architectural evolution continued with the addition of the iconic glass pyramid entrance designed by architect I. M. Pei. This modern element, introduced in 1989, serves as a striking contrast to the historical palace while providing an impressive entry point for millions of visitors each year.

Louvre Museum, 📍Paris
Traveling to Paris this summer and had the pleasure to visit the amazing Louvre Museum 😍
What an amazing experience which is truly unforgettable and if i have a chance i will surely visit it again. I got my tickets from the app “Get your Guide” which had discounted prices and various packages to choose from to visit the museum and trust me you will not regret it.. You have to go half an hour before your slot as the queues are long and takes time 😍😍
Once your in, you have 8 curatorial main sections to explore ranging from paintings to sculptures, objects and archaeological findings. I opted to visit the MonaLisa first and the queues to view and take pictures was insane but worth the wait 😍😍
The Grande Gallerie is a must visit place to sit down and enjoy the amazing sculptures and an amazing places to take some instagramable images and videos 😍😍
This place will surely have another visit from me in the near future but during off travel season so its not too busy 😍

The Louvre has more than just Mona Lisa… 🇫🇷
#timetotravel
Paris is always filled with tourists so always book tickets in advance and reserve the time slots.
I have been to the Louvre twice and the beautiful sculptures and paintings never fails to amaze me. My advice is be prepared to walk a lot and not only to be there just to see the mona lisa!!!
When I visited, I did not only enter the museum but I also had lunch at Le Café Marly. Le Café Marly is famous for being the restaurant right next to the Louvre so you get to enjoy the view as you are dining. If you intend to dine with Le Café Marly, remember to make a reservation ahead!! If not you will be like us, getting a seat only at the non-shaded area, which can get really hot.

Louvre Museum Masterpiece of Art and History
#wecreate
The Louvre Museum has a storied past that dates back to the 12th century when it was originally constructed as a fortress to defend the city of Paris. Over the centuries, the fortress was expanded and transformed into a royal palace, serving as the residence of several French monarchs. However, it was during the French Revolution in the late 18th century that the Louvre was officially established as a public museum, opening its doors to the general public in 1793. Since then, the museum has continuously evolved and expanded, both in terms of its collection and its iconic architecture.
The Louvre's architectural grandeur is a testament to the artistic vision and prowess of countless architects throughout history. The most renowned addition to the museum's complex is the iconic glass pyramid, designed by Chinese-American architect I.M. Pei in 1989. Serving as the main entrance, the pyramid beautifully combines modern design with the classic aesthetics of the surrounding historic buildings. It has become an emblematic symbol of the Louvre, attracting millions of visitors from around the globe. The Louvre Museum is renowned for its unparalleled collection of art, encompassing works from ancient civilizations to contemporary pieces. From the mesmerizing beauty of the Mona Lisa by Leonardo da Vinci to the enigmatic Winged Victory of Samothrace, the museum offers a breathtaking journey through time and artistic genius.

1. When you are in Paris, do as Parisians do; cafe culture. Cafe is everywhere in Paris; the seater facing out the street is for drinks, and dining customers sit after the first row.
2. Shop till you drop at La Vallee Village, the luxury outlet store in Paris. Around 1 hour from the City center by train.
3. Eiffel Tower, France iconic and the number destination in Paris. Suppose you have time, experience in daylight and nighttime. Be careful of your belonging, many pickpockets within this area, poised as a tourist or in a group.
4. River cruise, explore Paris on the cruise; the ticket is available at Trip.com apps. If you want more fancy, take the cruise with lunch or a romantic dinner.
5. Louvre Museum, Paris iconic, the home for the Mona Lisa painting by Leonardo Da Vinci and the famous sculpture of Venus de Milo. Ticket is available at Trip.com apps.
6. Explore Champ Elysees, the upscale shopping district and the center of France's luxury brands. Walk to the end of the street, where is the Arc de Triomphe located.

Paris Travelling Guide
Some tips to travel in Paris
1) Always book your attraction ticket days in advance because if you do it on the day itself, you might:
-not get any entry because the tickets are sold out or
-you have to queue for ticketing which can be snakingly long
2) For the Lourve Musuem do allocate a good full day at least because it is huge. I clocked 28,000 steps visiting the Lourve and a friend of mine who did some other days clocked 32,000 steps.
3) There is a choice of getting paper tickets or hard plastic transport card, if possible try not to buy the paper tickets because they demagnetised easily rendering useless i.e. if you put them near your handphone or credit cards, they might not be usable.
