Tranquil Majesty of Delhi's Lotus Temple 🪷
My exploration of the Lotus Temple in Delhi was truly enchanting.
Upon arrival, the architectural grandeur of the structure captivated me instantly. Amidst the city's hustle, the temple's serene aura offered a peaceful retreat. Inside, the lotus-shaped prayer hall evoked a profound sense of tranquility, its marble petals embracing worshippers in a harmonious embrace. The atmosphere encouraged introspection and spiritual contemplation. For a majority Hindu country, I was surprised that the temple was devoid of any religious symbols. The space is actually dedicated to people of all religions and I am a strong supporter of how this promotes unity and inclusivity.
My visit to this tranquil oasis amidst the urban sprawl has indeed been a rejuvenating journey for my soul, and I truly enjoyed its serenity and beauty.

Tranquility and Serenity are the words I could think of when we went inside the Lotus Temple. So peaceful that makes you want to pray and meditate after all this is a worship hall. Definitely a must visit in Delhi as its achitectural structure is a marvel itself. The surrounding and the environment is clean and well kept. It is free to enter but be appropriate with your clothing.

📍 Lotus Temple
The place is quite good, it's not a temple to worship but a place to relax your mind and meditate in a big hall and there is no need to buy tickets as entry is free.
Information centre helps us to understand more about the place and it's history.
The Lotus Temple has won numerous architectural awards and has been featured in many newspaper and magazine articles.
Overall visiting the temple is a good experience and also gives you peace but with a lot of people around you,it's get difficult.

Bahai Temple is famously known as Lotus Temple owing to its resemblance to lotus flower. Lotus symbolizes four religions namely Hinduism, Islam, Buddhism and Jainism. Out of the seven major Bahai temples constructed around the world, the one in Delhi was constructed last. The Lotus Temple is as its name suggests, because it is named after the lotus. It is a huge Bah' House of Spirits surrounded by three layers of white marble from the inside out. It is the newest of the seven Bah' Houses in the world. It was built in 1986 and has a unique shape and Sydney. The Opera House has the same purpose, making it one of the most visited buildings in the world, surpassing the Taj Mahal and the Eiffel Tower. The temple is decorated in a simple way. There are no beautiful strokes and beautiful lights. It is said that there is no Buddha statue in the temple. There are not even pillars. The only thing is the neat marble bench. No one in the temple spoke, there was no noise, everyone was sitting quietly on the bench, and it was definitely a good place for meditation to let go.
tips: 1. Slippers are required before entering the temple. The bag that receives the shoes is taken out at the door and returned. 2, enter the temple to observe the rules, do not speak and keep quiet.
