[2025 Pingtung Attraction] Travel Guide for Longpan Park (Updated Apr)

Travel from Kaohsiung by Kenting Express bus, which costs around 300NT per trip. You can buy tickets at the THSR Zuoying station. The journey takes about 2 hours. Upon arrival, rent a motorcycle to explore the beautiful scenery and photo spots. A must-visit is Longpan Park, where the color of the sea contrasts with the rocks, creating an absolutely stunning view.

The landscape is way beautiful catch with your eyes. It’s easy to access roads, we went there by electric bike we rent. Cheap reasonable price. It does get windy so don’t forget to bring a coat. Definitely a must visit!

Longpan Park is a tourist attraction on the east coast of Kenting. Due to the uplift of the strata, part of the coral reef rock layer collapsed, forming a high and steep cliff terrain facing the vast Pacific Ocean. This is my favorite place in Taiwan. Unlike ordinary parks with trees and flowers, this place is a vast grassland directly connected to the blue Pacific Ocean. The waves hit the rock walls, making a deafening sound, as if the sea is telling a story in its own language. This is a great place to watch the sunrise or the starry sky. In the early morning, the sun rises slowly from the sea level, dyeing the entire sky red, as beautiful as a painting; at night, the sky is full of stars, and the light pollution-free environment allows people to clearly see the shining Milky Way. When you come to Longpan Park, you don’t need too much travel. Kenting Longjing Park, natural carvings Kenting Longyan Park is an open park with no walls and no tickets. All the scenery of the park is original, and no artificial facilities are allowed. It is a pure beauty of natural carving. Standing on the edge of a carpet-like platform cliff, a strong sea breeze blows from the Pacific Ocean, and the dragons and grasslands green waves roll, one after another. Standing on the grassland overlooking, the coastline of the Pacific Ocean stretches and twists, and the waves of white flowers rush to the coast. Tips: This area has less light pollution and is suitable for watching the sunrise and the starry sky at night. No matter which season, as long as it is on a clear night, you can see the most beautiful night sky scene here. Don't be near the cliff. Longyan Park is between the goose nose and the wind blown sand. This area belongs to the rising limestone platform. Because the limestone is easily dissolved by water, there are limestone caves, seepage holes, cliffs and red clay. There are prairies in the park, from the steep cliffs to the winding coast. This area has less light and is suitable for watching the sunrise and the starry sky at night. It is a rare landscape of sand rivers and sand waterfalls in Taiwan. The opening of the road, the spectacular scene of the sand river is no longer seen, the parking lot has a parking lot here, and it is close to the cliff to see the sand waterfall on the cliff.
