This hotel in Xiamen is worthy of being called the best in Xiamen!
It might be my favorite hotel so far. 💗
It's not the most expensive hotel I've stayed at, but it is my favorite. 💗
It might also be because I have a filter for Xiamen, haha.
Hotel: Xiamen Seven Stars Hotel
It's only a 15-minute drive from the airport, super close.
But it's a bit far from Xiamen University, so we rented a car this time, haha.
Pros:
This is a place where you can spend 24 hours a day at the hotel.
From Monday to Sunday, the hotel organizes various activities every day, which you can sign up for in advance.
We participated in yoga and cocktail classes, which were great!
Breakfast is served until 11 am, and it's semi-buffet style.
It's super rich, with Minnan specialties and cinnamon rolls that I really love.
Cinnamon French toast, and I asked the waiter to add a lot of cinnamon powder for me!
You can sit by the pool, enjoy the sea breeze, and eat breakfast until you're full.
Oh, and the hotel's Western restaurant, Yinghong, is incredibly delicious!
The hotel's amenities are really strong.
The bath products are Diptyque, the speakers are BO, and the TV is Loewe.
The chairs are custom-made by Hermès (I asked because they were so comfortable).
I really love the hotel's aromatherapy, which is their own brand.
The scent is like a whiskey sour, haha, with honey and wood notes. It's really good! I never get tired of it.
From booking to check-out, the staff were warm and attentive, and their online responses were very prompt. On the day of check-in, they gave us a small cake, and when the staff heard I had a cold, they thoughtfully brought me hot ginger tea.
Interestingly, the hotel offers activities every day, such as cocktail making, yoga, meditation, and tea art classes. Be sure to make a reservation at the front desk a day in advance. The hotel has a spa center and all-day spa services, so you won't be bored even if you just relax at the hotel.
We had three meals at the hotel. One was Hainanese chicken rice ordered to the room, which was very average and not tasty. One dinner was at the hotel's Michelin-starred Xiamen restaurant, where the environment and experience were excellent. The staff were also very enthusiastic and patiently explained the dishes. The restaurant mainly serves Fujian cuisine, and you must try the scallion oil silver thread snail slices, which are crispy and refreshing! The complimentary dessert was also delicious. The third meal was the buffet breakfast, and I recommend the satay noodles and waffles!
The outdoor pool is cleaned every day, so you don't have to worry about fallen leaves or dirt.
I've already been swimming there! It's very clean.
Just make sure to choose the right time, as the pool can get crowded with kids, haha.
All the decor in the hotel is to my taste.
They've taken the Chinese vacation style to the extreme.
You can tell that the trees in the hotel are valuable.
The hotel rooms are also very spacious, and they provide a bottle of milk during turndown service at night.
In short, I was happy every day at Seven Stars.
I loved spending time at the hotel every day!
I want to watch the purple sunset from the bed.
I want to drink wine and eat pasta by the sea.
I want to watch the stars from the lounge chair by the pool.
I like it, I like it!!! 💗
This is my second time staying here, and I found that the prices didn't increase much during the Mid-Autumn Festival, so I quickly flew to Xiamen.
I would really go to Xiamen just to stay at this hotel!
