Line 8 of the subway hides 2 unpopular Taxodium distichum check-in spots
Are you still thinking about going to the South China Botanical Garden to see Taxodium distichum?
But are you worried about the crowd?
Then don't miss these 2 unpopular Taxodium distichum spots on Line 8 of the subway! Not only are they good for taking pictures, but they are also less crowded👀.
Here's the route!
➡️Xiaogang Station Exit A➡️Xiaogang Park
It's a 5-minute walk from the subway station to Xiaogang Park.
As soon as you enter the main gate, you'll see a red Taxodium distichum.
To the right, you'll see a forest of Taxodium distichum, about 20 or so.
It's one of the few Taxodium distichum growing on grassland.
So it has a sense of forest immediacy.
The Taxodium distichum here is still in the yellow-green stage, so it's just right for checking in on the weekend.
🌟There's also a popular photo spot in the park, hello kitty. It's in the children's playground. You can also take your kids for a boat ride. There are few people here on weekends, it's a good choice for a walk with kids.
➡️Rainbow Bridge Station Exit C➡️Liuhua Lake Park South Gate
It's a 15-minute walk from the subway station to the south gate of Liuhua Lake Park. After entering, look to the left towards the lake and you'll see a forest of Taxodium distichum. Walk further and you'll see Taxodium distichum Avenue. You can take pictures of the S-curved Taxodium distichum road.
The Taxodium distichum here is more lush and very large. Some of it is still green, it should turn yellow this weekend.
🌟There's also a children's playground here, where you can play in the sandpit and take a boat ride. Of course, don't miss the popular photo spot, European-style architecture.
You can choose to enter from the south gate and exit from the east gate, then walk to Yuexiu Park to take the subway.
Of course, I recommend going back to Rainbow Bridge and checking in at Xihua Road for food.
📷Photo time: 2014.01.03
🌈Why not try this Line 8 subway city walk to see the Taxodium distichum route this weekend.
Recommended route: Rainbow Bridge➡️Liuhua Lake➡️Xihua Road➡️Xiaogang Park
One-stop check-in at 2 parks, walk with kids and enjoy Taxodium distichum without missing out.
❤️I'm Ya Zi, a mom and a photography enthusiast.
I'll keep updating and take you to interesting, fun and less-known places.

Liuhua Lake Park is one of the favorite recreation places of local residents and the former imperial park. The park is divided into 4 parts and it has several lakes (big and small), covering an area of 330.000 square meters out of 540.000 square meters of total area.
In the northern and eastern parts of the park there is a children's entertainment area, a badminton field, a tropical garden, a health club and a bird island, where you can watch the life of several hundred herons from the observation deck.
Sweetlichek
Guangzhou, Liu Hua Hu Gong Yuan 流花湖公园 or Liuhua Lake Park. One more park in big gorgeous Guangzhou ,but at first, this place is free from any admission and looks better and more interesting than many parks in other cities. The lake and pavilions make this place ideal for taking rest afternoon.

A day of City Walk sharing in Guangzhou
Guangzhou Liuhua Lake Park⛲️➡️Xihua Road➡️Yongqingfang
Coming out of the Yuexiu Park subway station🚉, there are shopping malls on both sides. I had a bowl of noodles at 'Gan Zhangmen' to save energy. The online set meal is only 20💰, and it's a big bowl, quite cost-effective, and tastes good too.
Then you can walk to Liuhua Lake Park, where mostly you just walk around the 'White House', and you can take good photos📷 of the White House from various positions around the lake.
Walking about a kilometer, you can reach Xihua Road. There are various time-honored brands to choose from. We had Zhenzhen's tender beef brisket with pearl noodles➕Yufangyuan's silk stocking milk tea🧋. The beef brisket is chunky but a bit stuck in the teeth🦷, the flavor is rich, but it felt a bit sour, and the milk tea is not too sweet, with a strong tea flavor, quite delicious👌
Take the subway🚇 to Huangsha station, and after a short walk, you'll arrive at Yongqingfang! It feels similar to Foshan Lingnan Tiandi, 🈶️ there are small shops and places to eat. We arrived too early, didn't see the Moon Bridge lights on, had Enning ice cream, slightly expensive, the sesame flavor is rich but very sweet, 🍇 flavor is quite sour, tastes a bit cheap, 32💰 for two scoops, worth checking out once

So stunning! I've discovered this incredibly beautiful ancient-style garden in Guangzhou
It's hidden right in Liuhua Lake Park, which is accessible by two subway lines.
Did you think Liuhua Lake only had the Frankfurt Garden, Bird Island, and the popular white buildings?
Wrong! Inside there is a West Garden Elegant Scenery Garden.
Rockeries, flowing water, corridors, pavilions, potted plants, buildings...
A garden style full of Lingnan characteristics.
✅ It is recommended to go from the Rainbow Bridge subway station, which is closer. It's about a 10-minute walk to the West Garden entrance.
The West Garden entrance is currently under renovation, just walk 50 meters from the parking lot entrance to get in.
🌟 The West Garden Elegant Scenery Garden is not big, but it's very suitable for sitting down and appreciating the ancient-style garden. You can also choose to walk around the lake. It would probably take half a day to walk through the entire park.
🌈 Liuhua Lake Park visiting tips:
1⃣️ Exit D1 of Yuexiu Park Station is closer to the white buildings (Guangzhou Garden Museum), Frankfurt Garden.
2⃣️ Exit C of Rainbow Bridge Station is closer to West Garden Elegant Scenery Garden, bald cypress, and the amusement park area.
3⃣️ There is also the 🔥 popular Xihua Road nearby. You can choose to have lunch on Xihua Road before going to Liuhua Lake Park.
Put on your traditional Chinese-style clothes and go see this incredibly beautiful ancient-style garden this weekend!
Or take the opportunity this weekend to visit this park filled with memories for the locals.

Liuhua Lake Park really win Heart 🇨🇳
#cherryblossom2024 🌸
It's hard to imagine how romantic the sun can pass through the clouds in the summer of Liuhua Lake. Liuhua Lake Park is really win thoroughly.
‼️ Walk about 10 minutes from the subway station Feng [Yuexiu Park - Exit D1], and you can find the park hidden under the complicated filter of Liuhua Station. You don't need to fly with tickets, nor do you need to run to the north gate in advance. It's the "Little White House" that is the closest reclamation project to the "Little White House". In this abandoned white European building, you can only look across the lake, and can't enter or leave the country of Lu.
💡It's suggested to choose a bright day after 3 pm. The sunset shines in the ruins Like the scene of gods coming from science fiction, it's really beautiful to walk around the lake, meet many stray cats, and various water birds, ducks, black swans! Other things. It's a long night, like coming to the park after dinner. The park is very big, and you can also go and see things like Furongzhou when you have time.

Guangzhou | Free Photo Shoot at Liuhua Lake Park·Romantic Water Castle
Free Photo Shoot at Liuhua Lake Park·Romantic Water Castle. I finally checked in at the highly popular 'Water White House' online, and the netizens didn't lie to me, it's truly stunning and romantic! The European-style castle🏰 stands in the middle of the lake, and under the backdrop of the blue sky and white clouds, it looks like a beautiful painting. Every casual shot is a masterpiece, a perfect photo check-in spot.
⛲️: Liuhua Lake Park
📍: No. 163 Dongfeng West Road, Yuexiu District
💰: 0 yuan (free, no admission ticket required)
🚇: Metro Line 2 Yuexiu Park Exit C, about 600 meters walk
Strolling along the edge of Liuhua Lake, you can see the castle from different angles of beauty, with the sunlight reflecting the castle on the sparkling lake surface, it seems somewhat dreamy.
The park is very easy to explore, just follow the greenway forward, and there's a Frankfurt Rose Garden, with French romantic style. Taking photos here as a French girl should turn out very well, and along the way, there are plenty of green corridors and pavilions for tourists to rest. When tired, just sit on a stone bench.
The park's environmental sanitation is also very good. I stayed in the park for a long time and could see sanitation workers busy at work, even on the water, there were staff picking up trash. Compared to other parks, I love Liuhua Lake more.
⚠️ Travel Tip:
Enter from the southeast gate of the park, and you'll see the 'Water White House' building right away.
It's recommended to visit on a sunny day, as the beauty of the castle is not as prominent on a gloomy rainy day.
There are lush trees all around the lake, so walking around the lake won't be too hot.
It's suggested to come after 4 pm, the weather is not so hot, and if you stay longer, you can also see the romantic sunset

Originally, there are so many egrets in Liuhua Lake Park in Guangzhou
While visiting Liuhua Xiyuan in Guangzhou, I discovered a small island next to Xiyuan 🈶 - Egret Island, which is a lake island formed during the lake excavation and garden construction period of Liuhua Lake Park. The island covers an area of about 6,500 square meters, surrounded by lake water. In spring and summer, flowers bloom all over the island, and in autumn and winter, the forests are dyed with colors. Each season brings its own scenery, stunning the blue lake and sky, and also nurturing a lush 'bird paradise'.
With the initiation of the water ecological restoration project of Liuhua Lake Park, the successful advancement of water treatment, lakeshore remediation, and rain and sewage diversion projects, in recent years, the water of Liuhua Lake has become clear to the bottom, underwater plants have grown well, forming an 'underwater forest' that plays a role, rejuvenating the water quality of the lake. The improvement of the lake's ecology has provided an ideal living environment for wild birds, attracting them to settle here.
Egret Island has gathered 58 species of birds, including grey herons, great egrets, common blackbirds, kingfishers, white-breasted kingfishers, dark green white-eyes, Alexandrine parakeets, red-billed blue magpies, spotted doves, great barbets, owls, and more.
In recent years, the ecological changes in Guangzhou have been continuously improving, and Liuhua Lake Park, with its blue skies, green land, and clean waters, is a microcosm of this. Everywhere you can see the beautiful picture of humans and nature living in harmony.

Liu Hua Lake Park's West Garden showcases the beauty of nature in its full glory
If Guangzhou's Liu Hua Lake Park were to be divided into two, most visitors to the park usually only explore the eastern half. This area features a large expanse of bald cypress forests, Pu Cui Zhou, Frankfurt Garden, Pu Lin Square, Fu Qiu, Fu Rong Zhou, Pu Kui Dike, Meng Garden, the internet-famous 'White House', Cycad Garden, Bao Xiang Paradise, Banyan Shade Playground, Health and Sports Field, and so on.
This time, I specifically came to explore the western half, which I have been sharing over the past few days, including Liu Hua West Garden, Lu Dao, Ya Jing Garden, which are all very beautiful. Today, I continue to share about Hui Bo Xie, Guan Lu Tai, and Nong Qu Garden.
Hui Bo Xie is a garden resting place with a strong Lingnan architectural style, built in 1978, covering about 100 square meters, built by the water, and has an antique charm. Historically, international friends such as Queen Elizabeth II of England, the former Minister of Justice of Indonesia, and national leaders like the former Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, Apa-Awang Jinmei, and former Vice Premier of the State Council, Zhang Aiping, have left their footprints in the pavilion.
Guan Lu Tai is a place for bird watching🐦, facing south with the back to the north, overlooking the central island of the lake, with a broad view. Strolling along the green path by the lake, one will surely be intoxicated by the beautiful reflections.
Nong Qu Garden is suitable for bringing children, as it combines education with fun, allowing kids👶🏻 to learn about plants, vegetables, fruits, and flowers, cultivating a sense of caring for nature and the environment from a young age.

Liu Hua Lake Park
Liu Hua Lake Park
Liu Hua Lake | Truly the most photogenic park in Guangzhou!
There are hundreds of parks in Guangzhou, big and small
All are great places to get close to nature and relax, but the most photogenic is Liu Hua Lake Park!
Especially the white castle building (White House) in the park is very majestic and belongs to the classic European style. It's really beautiful for taking pictures
-
The park is in the city center, quiet amidst the hustle and bustle, and transportation is very convenient
Sitting by the lake and enjoying the breeze is very comfortable. This is the sense of relaxation that life should have
tips:
Be sure to enter from the Northeast Gate or the North Gate! This is the closest to the White House on the water, and entering from other gates requires a longer detour.
White House: You can see it as soon as you enter from the Northeast Gate, but you can't go inside the White House to take pictures. You can walk around the lake, there are photo spots everywhere. When the weather is clear, you can take pictures of the sunset in the afternoon.
Lotus Island: After entering from the Northeast Gate, turn right and walk for about four or five minutes to reach Lotus Island, where you can take the same photo frame of the White House as in picture 4.
Frankfurt Rose Garden: Near the South Gate, it's a small garden with a bit of European style.
The Culinary Cruise
Is Liuhua Lake Park really worth visiting?
One of Guangzhou's popular photo check-in spots, Liuhua Lake Park, is it really worth a visit? It depends on what you're going for.
👉 For European-style architecture
If you're coming for this purpose, I personally don't think it's particularly worth it. Although it's quite photogenic, there's actually only one European-style building in the park, which is the water 'White House' on the cover photo.
However, as the saying goes, whether it's worth it or not is subjective, after all, this 'White House' has become very popular and is now a must-visit spot in Liuhua Lake Park.
tips:
🌿 For the best photos of the White House, choose a sunny and breezy day to go~ I went on an overcast day, without a blue sky background, and the wind was too strong to capture the reflection on the lake
👒 For the ladies taking photos, it's recommended to wear light-colored clothing
Due to lighting reasons, it's not easy to frame people, so definitely bring a camera📷 if you can
👉 Just snapping photos and strolling around
If you're not going for any specific purpose, Liuhua Lake Park is still very worth visiting! In addition to the water White House, you can also enjoy other scenery, such as:
✨ People watching There are many handsome guys and beautiful girls taking photos, of course, don't bring any colors, just pure appreciation, after all, everyone likes beautiful people and things~
✨ Frankfurt Park: A German-style mini garden with big beautiful flowers
✨ Furongzhou: An island with flowers in the water, it's recommended to go during the blooming season, with continuous flowers, suitable for taking photos, walking, and enjoying the scenery
✨ Bald cypress forest
I really like it here! Unfortunately, it was too late and already dark when I went, and my phone couldn't capture it.
🍂 You can go in December when the bald cypress trees in the forest are interspersed with red and yellow, looking like a painting, super beautiful~
🍃 Or go in spring and summer, when the lush greenery is full of life and beauty, it's hard not to like it~
There are also long wooden benches in the forest for resting, and in the afternoon breeze, some people sit quietly, some read books, and the environment is also quiet, so it feels very comfortable
You can also go in the evening or a little later, when there are fewer people walking around nearby, and the warm-colored streetlights create a different atmosphere. Remember to use mosquito repellent in the summer, and if you're scared at night, just ignore this, because it's really quiet without tourists
✨ There are ancient-style bridges and pavilions, and a small tower, where you can get a broader view on the second floor, enjoy the scenery in the breeze on sunny days, or listen to the rain on rainy days~
✨ The park also has swans🦢, kittens🐱, ducks🦆, and friends who like small animals can go for a chance encounter
✨ Regular park fitness equipment, table tennis tables, chess tables, etc. (there's even Go here, not just for the elderly but also for children🌟), and the park is large, with playgrounds and performance stages, so it's no problem to accompany elders, walk yourself or your kids
✨ Another thing, art comes from life, I went to take a picture of the lotus pond in winter, and it turns out that painters don't just paint anything
📝 Overall, it's recommended to go on a sunny day, enter the park around 3 or 4 in the afternoon when the light is relatively soft and suitable for photography, and if you stay until evening, you can also wait for a sunset and twilight over the lake
🗓 The white palace is near the north gate, while the bald cypress trees are closer to the south gate
💰free No reservation needed and no admission fee🎫

No wonder the 31st Guangzhou Garden Expo in Huacheng is about to open
Hi everyone~ This is my 104th note on
'Guangzhou Photo Leisure Spot'
'Experience the beauty of the sea of flowers in Huacheng during the New Year' The 31st Guangzhou Garden Expo has quietly kicked off As the first flower event in the country in the spring
It will welcome visitors from all directions with more than a hundred groups of horticultural works. The main venue is set in Baiyun Mountain
Children's Park, Lanpu, Liuhua Lake Park are the sub-venues
Although Liwan Lake Park in Xiguan did not participate in the Garden Expo
But in order to celebrate the New Year, many beautiful flowers have been arranged in the park, including hydrangeas, large swallows, wax chrysanthemums... The bling bling flower art exhibition is concentrated at the east gate of Liwan Lake Park. You can see it as soon as you enter from the east gate, right by the lake
Other places in Liwan Lake Park are also very beautiful
There are pavilions, small bridges and flowing water, and you can also take a boat tour of the lake
Stroll in the park for 1-2 hours, and then take a look at the old Xiguan attractions nearby

Guangzhou | The cats in Liuhua Lake are not afraid of you, but they might dislike you
This is a great time to visit the park.
Almost every weekend is spent in the park.
The sight of deciduous cypress and evergreen trees everywhere.
This scene is a once-a-year event.
It's been quite a few years since I last visited Liuhua Lake Park.
It seems to have become even more beautiful.
The unbeatable lake view is incredibly satisfying for those with a symmetry obsession.
Every casual shot is very beautiful.
You can often encounter kittens in the park.
Some are not afraid of you, and might even dislike you 😂
This time I found that next to the children's playground,
there is an additional free small playground.
The nostalgic stone elephant brings back childhood memories.
The children are having fun.
Moms have another free place to take their kids for a walk.
ISAAC ROGERS
Relaxing with kids at Liuhua Lake Park, feeling the breath of winter
Every weekend, I will take my child out for a walk, let the child have more outdoor activities, explore the outside world, a leaf, a grass, a flower, together to observe these usually ignored beautiful things.
-
This time I took her to 🍃Liuhua Lake Park, only to find that there are too many beautiful places here. These few 📸photo check-in points, can 🐴code it~
-
✅🏯White House
The place where bi comes, take the whole White House as the background, the photos taken are very magnificent. You can also use the lake in the middle to capture the reflection of the White House, such a perspective is also very out of the picture.
-
✅🌸Furong State
What I saw this time was bougainvillea and hibiscus (not fully bloomed) You can squat down and take some interactive photos with 🧒children or go to the bougainvillea near the lake to take pictures of the White House.
✅Next to Puzhou Forest
There is a small window 🪟, you can use the frame visual composition, the photos taken are also great~

Liu Hua Lake Park
Liu Hua Lake Park is located at No. 100 Liu Hua Road, Yuexiu District, Guangzhou City, and is one of the more famous parks in Guangzhou. It is not far from Yuexiu Park. The park has beautiful lake and mountain views, various trees and the lake complement each other, and the scenery is pleasant. There are various children's play facilities, which is a good place for children to play! It is also the favorite place for the elderly in Guangzhou to exercise in the morning.

Guangzhou Ancient Garden
The beauty of the Chinese courtyard, Yajing Garden has a "garden in the garden" with rockeries, flowing water, pavilions, and long corridors.
