Magic City offers free exhibition visits, and today I checked in at the Liu Haisu Art Museum. The 'Ink Play. Playful Ink' exhibition brings together ink opera paintings by artists such as Guan Liang, Ding Liren, Han Yu, Nie Ganyin, and Zhu Zhengeng. They use opera as a bridge and the character designs on stage as blueprints, employing various techniques such as freehand, abstract, and intentional expression to perfectly combine the tension of drama with the connotations of ink painting, condensing the essence of the stage onto the canvas.

📍 Passing by Yan'an West Road, I walked into the Liu Haisu Art Museum for the first time since its reopening in 2016. The location and venue of the art museum are excellent, after all, it is situated between the expensive Wuyi Road and Yan'an West Road in Changning District.
