Amusement parks
Liseberg Amusement Park is the largest and oldest theme park in Northern Europe. It is located in the center of Gothenburg, Sweden, and has attracted hundreds of millions of tourists since its opening. As Sweden's national park, it is famous for the world's steepest wooden roller coaster Balder. Its 70-degree dive track creates an extremely long air time and has been rated as the "World's Best Wooden Roller Coaster" for many consecutive years. The 33.5-meter-high boomerang roller coaster added during the centennial celebration in 2023 has become the tallest and fastest facility of its kind in the world. The park combines excitement and art, with 35 rides, including the Nordic super-large 3D cinema and a horror haunted house with real people. The open-air stage in summer has welcomed performances such as ABBA and the Rolling Stones, and in winter it has transformed into the largest Christmas market in Northern Europe, with the aroma of cinnamon liqueur and reindeer barbecue. This century-old park, with the motto of "never dull", is not only a paradise for adventurers, but also a microcosm of the vitality of Nordic culture.
