On a recent visit, I was eager to experience everything this much-talked-about venue had to offer. While there were some commendable aspects to the evening, a few glaring issues, unfortunately, marred the overall experience.

However, the experience began on a disappointing note at the reception. Despite having made a reservation well in advance, we were greeted with what can only be described as discourteous behavior from the front desk staff. Even more frustratingly, despite our booking, we were made to wait an unreasonably long time for our table. While one can understand delays at a popular restaurant, it is the manner in which such situations are handled that makes the difference. Unfortunately, Gigy’s team failed to manage the situation effectively, offering no explanation or apology for the delay. This lack of basic hospitality was disappointing, especially for a venue that positions itself as a premium dining destination.
Once seated, however, the mood began to improve as we settled into the inviting space and perused the menu. Gigy’s culinary offerings are undoubtedly creative and diverse, with a focus on contemporary cuisine featuring bold flavors and innovative presentation. The menu is thoughtfully curated, offering something for everyone, from indulgent dishes for food enthusiasts to lighter options for health-conscious diners.
We ordered a mix of appetizers and mains, and while some dishes stood out for their taste and presentation, there were also a few significant missteps.
