Best spots to try on your visit to Wuxiโs giant buddha
When visiting Lingshan Giant Buddha in Wuxi, grab your camera and head straight to the base for a dramatic upward shot that highlights the statueโs impressive scale. Another top photo spot is right in the feet of the statue, where you can use your gran angular lense from your phone and place it in the floor to get a different point of view where the Buddha is beautifully framed by detailed carvings from bottom to the top. These locations offer the best views for capturing the majestic presence of the Buddha.

One of the majestic temples in China๐ชฌ๐
What I find fascinating about China is that how many majestic Buddhist statues and temples are here in this country. Lingshan Giant Buddha is one of those temples located at the northern bank of Taihu Lake, Wuxi City, Jiangsu province. ๐ชท๐ฟ
The bronze buddha statue here is 88 meters tall which was built in 1997 and is 17 meters taller than Leshan Giant Buddha in Sichuan. Itโs one of the tallest buddha statues in China and also in the world.
I visited there on the weekend from Shanghai. I took the high speed train from Hongqiao station to Wuxi and then took a direct bus. In the scenic spot, there were 100s of devotees praying and soaking up the divinely atmosphere. I did the same ๐๐
One of my best weekend trip! ๐ Just go there ๐
Donโt miss the show.

Lingshan Scenic Spot
What a fabulous place!
We went to visit the park on a Monday outside the holidays and it was very quiet and peaceful.
The scenery is beautiful and well worth the pricey entrance fee (210RMB/Person; children and 70+ go for half price).
Highlight of course is the giant Buddha. It is quite a climb (210 stairs), but very worth it! But we also enjoyed the immersive theatre spectacle, that combines iMax movie with live performance.
It is quite far from the city center and taking a Didi is the best option to get there. Food options are limited, but pretty tasty and affordable.

The LingShan Buddha Wuxi China ๐จ๐ณ
The LingShan Buddha is one of the worlds largest buddha and is a huge tourist attraction located in the outskirts of the city of Wuxi.
The LingShan Buddha stands tall and strong on top of the hill, up the steps, and near the mountains. Usually people can be found praying to the Buddha and shopping at the gift shops located under the Buddhas feet as well as at the bottom of the stairs.
The Buddha can be very crowded in high season especially the summer and yet it is not so difficult to reach.
A car or taxi is recommended however, get with some friends and family and ride share your way there.
Would definitely recommend this place if you are in the area.

Wuxi famous scenic spot, Lingshan Giant Buddha. The history of
Lingshan can be traced back to the Tang Dynasty more than 1,000 years ago. It is said that Xuanzang returned from the West and traveled to the southeast to see Xiaolin Mountain. See the "layers of greenery", the scenery is extraordinary, greatly appreciated, "No The victory of the National Spirit of the West is also "! So I named this mountain Xiaolingshan. The Lingbi Mountain in India is the place where Sakyamuni became a Buddha. It is a famous Buddhist shrine, and the younger disciple is here to preside over the opening ceremony. The Xiaolingshan Temple has gradually developed. The Lingshan Giant Buddha standing in the south of Xiaoling Mountain, including the lotus seat, is eighty-eight meters high, which is equivalent to the height of a 30-storey building. It is more than a mountain in which the mountain is a Buddha and the Buddha is a mountain. The Buddha is still 17 meters tall and is by far the tallest Buddha statue in China!

Walking slowly up the Lingshan scenic area, surrounded by lush green forests, one can feel the serenity and freshness of nature. Upon reaching the summit and gazing at the towering Buddha, every detail of the statue appears lifelike, from its kind expression to its graceful gestures, exuding infinite compassion and love. The lotus pedestal beneath the statue symbolizes transcendence and enlightenment, prompting self-reflection and a sense of inner peace and clarity.
Besides the Lingshan Grand Buddha itself, various Buddhist cultural facilities within the Lingshan Scenic Area, such as the Brahma Palace, the Buddha's Foot Altar, and the Five Seal Mandala, are also worth visiting. These structures combine exquisite architectural art with profound religious significance, showcasing the vastness and depth of Buddhist culture in every detail. Especially the ceiling murals and intricate carvings inside the Brahma Palace, which make one feel as if they are in a sacred world, providing immense comfort and spiritual upliftment.
Overall, the journey to the Lingshan Grand Buddha is a pilgrimage of the soul. Whether it is the solemn grandeur of the Buddha or the cultural depth of the Lingshan Scenic Area, I felt the infinite charm and power of Buddhist culture. Every corner here is filled with tranquility and sanctity, making it an ideal place for seeking inner peace or exploring cultural heritage.

Jichang Garden, the Second Best Spring in the World, Liyuan Garden, and Meiyuan Garden showcase the beauty of Wuxi's gardens. Wuxi cuisine is light and sweet, and the city's rich aquatic products are perfectly represented in Wuxi spare ribs and Taihu Lake banquets. This city, which was established during the Shang Dynasty and was one of the four major rice markets in history, shows us the long-standing charm of a city in the south of the Yangtze River, which is soft and full of human touch.

An Exlusive Trip Into Area of Lingshan Buddhist Scenic Spot
#chinatrip
Located at the southwestern tip of Wuxi and on the Majishan Peninsula extending from the northern shore of Taihu Lake, the scenic area of Lingshan Mountain is a Buddhist wonderland at the national tourist resort of Taihu Lake. Covering an area of 30 hectares (74 acres), this park is famous for the world's largest bronze Buddha statue with an amazing height of 88 meters (289 feet). In addition, there are wonderful attractions here, including the Brahma Palace, the Mandala of the Five Mudras, Nine Dragons bathing in Shakyamuni, Xiangfu Temple and many other Buddhist attractions.
The Great Buddha Lingshan, built in 1997, is the largest bronze statue of Shakyamuni standing in the open air in China. The 88-meter-high Buddha, made of 2,000 welded bronze wall plates, weighing more than 700 tons, is a landmark of Wuxi.
Lingshan Brahma Palace, the Mandala of the Five Mudras and the Flying Dragon Pagoda are three architectural structures in very different styles representing the three main branches of Chinese Buddhism, Tibetan Buddhism and Southern Buddhism. Lingshan Brahma Palace is one of the largest, with magnificent floor-to-ceiling decorations of all the majestic and luxurious. Huge wood carvings, gorgeous glazed wall decorations and an exquisite coffered ceiling with flying fairies make you feel like you have stepped into a misty and magnificent paradise away from the hustle and bustle of the Shobha world. In addition, Lingshan Brahma Palace is also equipped with modern amenities such as theaters, banquet halls and conference rooms.
Whatever, there a lot of tips and arrows to guide visitors, I would like to propose the best route to comprehensively explore the scenic area.

Lingshan Grand Buddha - As You Wish
Finally, I have arrived at the Lingshan Grand Buddha that I have been longing for! When the magnificent and solemn Buddha statue appeared before my eyes, I was truly deeply shocked.
Standing at the foot of the Buddha, looking up, I felt so small, while the Buddha compassionately overlooked everything, as if he could embrace all things in the world.
I watched the performance of the Nine Dragons Bathing, which was truly spectacular! The water columns sprayed from the mouths of the nine dragons shone in the sunlight, creating a dreamlike scene.
In the Lingshan Brahma Palace, I was even more impressed by the exquisite architecture and dazzling decorations, with every detail exuding sacredness and solemnity.
Here, my steps unconsciously slowed down, and my mind became extraordinarily peaceful.
