Cave Temple With Colorful Decorations In Ipoh✨🇲🇾
#heritageplace
This time i visited unique place in Ipoh named Lin Sen Tong Temple. Ling Sen Tong is a beautiful Taoist cave temple located at the foot of a limestone hill in Ipoh, Perak. The name is literally translated as the Rock of Heavenly Spirit.
Ling Sen Tong is one of three temple complexes located in the vicinity of Gunung Rapat, all of which occupy limestone caves. While perhaps not as well-known as its nearby counterpart Sam Poh Tong, this place of worship on the outskirts of Ipoh is popular in its own right.
You can see a colourful display of statues in this temple and most of them depicting mythical figures from Chinese folklore.

Ling Sen Tong Temple
Ling Sen Tong Temple is a Taoist Cave Temple, means Rock of Heavenly Spirits located at limestone hills of Gunung Rapat, easily found at highway Jalan Gopeng to Ipoh. Inside the temple, colorful statues of many deities, animals and figures from Chinese Folklore. Lots of Chinese Mythology statues and stories can be found here.
There is a long ascending staircase linked to a small dark cave, an adventurous experience into the temple cave full of god goddess statues and stories. A really good experience of visit.

Ling Sen Tong Temple
Colorful otherworldly spaces with characters only found in shows like Dragonball Z. It helps shes light on stories or statues found in many Chinese statues and works. IF you understand Chinese or are familiar with the tales. As there is no English. Could spend an afternoon here just reading a book or resting. Very peaceful place with tons of incense as well. Loved my time here, wish i was a local so i could visit more often.

Pictures off the the fabulous and colourful Ling Sen Tong temple. This is a taoist cave temple, it is full off various different colourful statues. Found turtels swimming away which u can purchase food to feed them. I also found a set off steps which I followed which lead me to a small hidden waterfall. It took us around forty minutes to explore the full temple and grounds. there is no pictures off the main temple as people was praying and I did not want to interrupt them. definitely worth a visit #templedaytravels

the Taoist & Buddhists Temple In Ipoh
If you are someone religious or just want to go for sight seeing you can go to the Lin Seng Tong Temple and the Sam Poh Tong Temple which is both a toaists/Buddhists Temple located side by side at Kampung Gunung Rapat, 31350 Ipoh, Perak, Malaysia.
Sam Poh Tong Temple is known for its limestone caves as the Temple is built either under it or within it. There is a turtle pong here filled with turtles where you can feed them, this is just right after the Sam Poh Tong cave entrance.
Lin Seng Tong Temple is a Temple filled with many structures of deities and many other beautiful struture which I believe is a representative of what is the afterlife when you move on as a Buddhists.
These 2 places is a tourists attractions and do not require an entrance fee to enter, but do recommended to provide some donations as to support the upkeep of the place here.

Known for its bright colors and statues that are true to traditional Taoist tendencies. The cave walls of Ling Sen Tong are notably black from decades of incense smoke. The temple grounds have statues of the animal zodiac, figures from popular Chinese myth, Journey to the West, and other religious figures from Taoist (and Buddhist) scripture. Visitors can climb up above the temple to get close to the 4 large figures and the reclining Buddha figure. The exploration of the temple usually takes less than 20 minutes.
