Students are crying with excitement, you must stay here when visiting Urumqi!
I chose the Zhotels (Xinxing Street Subway Station) on Lihua Street for this trip, and my overall experience was pretty good. I'd like to share it with everyone~
📍Location & Transportation: ⭐⭐⭐⭐
The hotel is located at 88 Lihua Street, Shuimogou District, Urumqi, right in the city center with an excellent location. It's only a 220-meter walk from the hotel to Exit A of Xinxing Street subway station. From there, you can take Line 1 directly to Diwopu International Airport, and it's only a 20-minute drive to Urumqi High-Speed Railway Station, which is super convenient for travelers. There are also many bus stops nearby with numerous routes, making it easy to reach attractions and shopping areas throughout the city.
🏨Hotel Environment & Facilities: ⭐⭐⭐✨
The lobby combines a café, cultural book bar, art gallery, and product exhibition area, creating a rich social and artistic atmosphere. The rooms have comprehensive smart features - the Xiaodu voice assistant can control lights, air conditioning, and TV, which is quite novel and interesting. The mattress is made of high-quality zero-pressure memory foam, extremely comfortable to lie on and helps relieve the day's fatigue. The musical shower smart system is also a plus - listening to light music while showering creates a completely satisfying experience. The hotel also has a gym and laundry room to meet the daily needs of business travelers. However, the gym is rather small with only one treadmill, which wasn't working properly when I visited - a minor disappointment.
👨✈️Service Quality: ⭐⭐⭐⭐
From check-in at the front desk to subsequent services, the staff were very enthusiastic. The check-in process was quick, and they thoughtfully introduced the hotel's services and nearby attractions. When I needed extra towels and pillows during my stay, the staff delivered them promptly - kudos for the quick response!
🍽️Dining Experience: ⭐⭐⭐
The hotel offers both Chinese and Western cuisine. Breakfast has a decent variety, including bread, eggs, milk, porridge, and some local specialties. However, the dining space is not very large and can get crowded when busy. Also, if you miss breakfast time, the front desk isn't very willing to help with dining solutions - I hope this aspect can be improved.
💴Value for Money: ⭐⭐⭐
The price I paid was mid-range compared to similar hotels, and considering its prime location and various facilities and services, the value is reasonable. But if the gym facilities could be more complete and breakfast service more flexible, the value would certainly be higher.
Overall, Zhotels (Xinxing Street Subway Station) on Lihua Street is a good choice, suitable for business travelers and tourists. If the minor shortcomings mentioned above could be improved, the experience would definitely reach the next level!
