A Sensory Garden in Daejeon
I went on an autumn trip to Daejeon with my boyfriend, and we saw a sculpture in front of the Lee Ungno Museum. It was truly a space that fully conveyed the sensibility of artist Lee Ungno.
The large sculpture, which stood out even from a distance, felt like the abstract lines and shapes in his works had extended into reality.
My boyfriend and I stood in front of the sculpture and admired it. Lee Ungno's unique aesthetics blended with the surrounding scenery, creating a truly special atmosphere.

A Sunny Exhibition Date
Address: 157 Dunsan-daero, Seo-gu, Daejeon, Lee Ungno Museum
The exhibition at the Lee Ungno Museum made me rethink how Eastern paintings from the modern era were perceived in the West. Not to mention Lee Ungno's unique brushstrokes and sense of style, but you could also see the works of his students connected to him in Paris, making it feel like double the fun in one exhibition. Especially, the abstract works that beautifully depicted the Korean alphabet made me stand and admire them for a long time. Additionally, the students' works, each incorporating Lee Ungno's influence in their own unique styles, made it even more intriguing.

Lee Ungno Goes to Paris Exhibition
Address: 157 Dunsan-daero, Seo-gu, Daejeon, Lee Ungno Museum
I visited the 'Lee Ungno Goes to Paris' exhibition at the Lee Ungno Museum with my boyfriend. It was truly impressive to see the works of artist Lee Ungno, who was active in Paris, all in one place. The artworks from his Paris period exuded a free and original atmosphere, and we were particularly fascinated by the abstract works inspired by Hangul. The exhibition space was also well-organized, allowing us to enjoy the exhibit leisurely, making it a perfect date spot!
