Cannes, France - free parking, film festival site and stunning coastline
France🇫🇷Cannes—Free parking, film festival site and charming coastline
Our first stop in France, we unexpectedly found a great free parking spot, in a great location, right near the beach! There is a very long coastline here, which must be crowded with people in summer. It’s a pity that the weather was still a bit cold when we went there, otherwise I really wanted to jump into the water and have a good swim!
Convenient parking environment
It takes about 3 minutes to walk from the parking lot to the beach. There are also water stations and toilets nearby, which is super convenient for car travelers. Not only that, it takes about 15 minutes to walk to the old town of Cannes from here, where you can stroll through it and feel the unique atmosphere of this film capital.
The most famous Cannes Film Festival is held every year at the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès in Cannes. During this visit, we happened to encounter the "Ninja" extreme sports challenge. Unfortunately, the tickets had been reserved for free long in advance, and there was no way to wait on the spot. We could only watch the contestants challenge their limits from the outside, which was quite exciting!
