Sea View "Hermes" - Tahiti
The beauty of Tahiti is a kind of beauty that makes you fall in love at first sight. We set off from Beijing, via Auckland, New Zealand, and arrived in Tahiti.
We didn't stay long in Tahiti, and went directly to Moorea Island by boat (there are several companies, you can choose at the pier, there is no fixed time, according to the taxi driver, the ticket is valid for one year). We stayed at Sofitel on Moorea Island, mainly for the lagoon tour. The lagoon on Moorea Island is relatively shallow, which is relatively friendly to tourists with average swimming skills. After two days of rest on Moorea Island, we returned to Tahiti and flew to Bora Bora Island, where we stayed at Conrad, Pearl, and Thalasso. Conrad is friendly to Chinese people and has Chinese services; Pearl is cost-effective, and we like the scenery the most, which is closest to Tiffany blue; Thalasso is on the other side of the island, mainly with outstanding mountain views. The main activities in Bora Bora are lagoon tours (relatively deep, 3-4 meters, the captain will take you), watching the sunset, and mountain tours. You can also participate in activities such as jet skiing, quad biking, and paragliding. After staying in Bora Bora for a week, we flew to Auckland and started our road trip to the South Island of New Zealand.
Local transportation is mainly by taxi and boat, and the cost is relatively high, with taxis starting at USD 20 and boats being relatively cheap. The price of activities starts from RMB 800, and the food is average, with normal burgers and pizzas costing around RMB 300.
However, the scenery is impeccable, and if you have a sufficient budget, it is worth recommending.
