Hangzhou Vallie Hotel
Location: Nestled at the foot of Liuhe Pagoda and adjacent to the Jiuxi Scenic Area, the hotel is just 100 meters from Liuhe Pagoda parking lot. For guests with luggage, the hotel provides golf cart transfers from the parking lot to the property.
Hardware: With only 7 guest rooms in total, the hotel boasts exceptional hardware quality—from material selection to meticulous detailing. The experience is so captivating that even while casually scrolling through your phone on the sofa, you'll still be awestruck by the room's beauty upon looking up. Thoughtful touches include bath bombs and disposable bath bags by the tub, Bvlgari amenities, Marvis toothpaste, a B&O Beosound sound system, and even fresh, fully bloomed roses in the room. The fruits provided are perfectly ripe for immediate enjoyment. This level of attention to detail is unmatched by any other hotel we've stayed at.
Service: A butler adds guests on WeChat one day prior to arrival. The staff here are professional, friendly, and always proactive with arrangements. Their service strikes the perfect balance—attentive yet unobtrusive, creating a genuinely comfortable atmosphere. The mini-bar is completely complimentary, including a bottle of sparkling wine along with red and white wines, demonstrating remarkable generosity. When factoring in these hidden perks, the value proposition surpasses even luxury properties like Zixuan and Banyan Tree.
Dining: The hotel features just one French restaurant—Xi Pan 19, which recently earned a Michelin star. Their desserts are exceptional; we particularly enjoyed the rose cheesecake paired with Longjing tea during afternoon tea, and the complimentary canelés served in the evening were equally delightful.
If there's any drawback, it's the absence of a gym, swimming pool, or in-room TVs—a deliberate setup designed to ensure guests truly unwind and relax.
