#springitinerary we visited the beautiful Lazi Convent, one of the oldest and biggest convents in the Philippines. It’s right across from the San Isidro Labrador Church, and the area feels calm and full of history. The convent is made of coral stones and hardwood and even though it’s old, it still looks strong and peaceful. Walking around, you can really feel the quiet charm of the place. It was built in 1884 and is said to be the oldest and biggest convent in Asia. walking inside is a little bit eerie as you feel like you are in a horror movie. hahaah. Blame it to all those horror movies that take place in a convent. It is just really old and it shows with the interior and the facade of the convent.
