Take Over an Entire Forest Village! A Healing Hotel in a Secluded Valley
Jinhua Shillili · Beishan Thirty-Six Courtyard Creek
Drive into Chisong Town in the eastern suburbs of Jinhua, and the winding mountain road suddenly opens up—the 800-year-old village of Shiqiao is lightly shrouded in clouds and mist, and Shillili Beishan Thirty-Six Courtyard Creek is located where the stream surrounds it. Navigate directly to No. 18 Taohua Road, Chisong Town, Jindong District, Jinhua City. It is only 18 km from Jinhua High-Speed Railway Station, 56 km from Yiwu Airport, and a 2-hour drive from Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai. It is secluded but not isolated.
This was once a sacred place for Huang Daxian's ascension to immortality. More than 40 ancient houses from the Southern Song Dynasty have been reborn with mortise and tenon techniques. Mottled stone walls coexist with floor-to-ceiling glass, and century-old camphor trees complement the mine hot springs. The designer spent 9 years transforming the abandoned village into a miniature version of the "Taoist Thirty-Six Caves": the glass restaurant suspended above the stream reflects the flowing clouds, the cliff gym hangs on the cliff, and the Shenghua Academy is hidden deep in the bamboo forest. Every building seems to grow naturally from the mountains and wilds.
In the 2,000-acre mountain secret realm, 80 guest rooms are scattered among 30 independent courtyards. Each villa is approximately 190m², and the guest rooms start from 35m², named after "Flower Stream," "Mountain and Sea," "Stone Reef Stream," etc., each unique. Open the window to see the verdant peaks, close the door to hear the whispers of the stream. The interior wooden beams and columns and rammed earth walls tell the story of history, while Dyson hair dryers, Ferragamo amenities, fireplaces, and tea tables interpret modern luxury.
The Creek Restaurant is suspended above the gurgling water with floor-to-ceiling glass, featuring creative Jinhua cuisine: ancient-style simmered chicken soup, freshly picked wild vegetable Qingming Kueh, golden and crispy Meigancai biscuits, all ingredients are sourced from surrounding ecological farms. Wake up in the morning and enjoy a nine-square breakfast on the misty terrace, accompanied by freshly ground soy milk, and the sweetness of the mountains and fields directly reaches your taste buds.
