Especially around 8pm, you can see MBS's light show, which is really impressive... The moment when I took a sip of wine with the music, lights, and night view combined is still vivid. Menu & Taste🥂 As expected of a bar famous for cocktails, there were various signature cocktails. I ordered [Example: Lantern Sling], which was refreshing but had a high alcohol content, so it was perfect for getting into the mood. For the side dishes, I had truffle fries and barbecue sliders, which were pretty high quality for bar food. You can go just for the view, but it was even better because it tasted good. Overall Review😍 Location: ★★★★★ (In the middle of the city, great view) Ambience: ★★★★★ (Good for dates, anniversaries, and drinking alone) Taste: ★★★★☆ (Great for bar food) Price: ★★★☆☆ (A little pricey, but worth it) If you want to spend a special night in Singapore, make sure to add Lantern Bar to your list. Part of my sister’s birthday celebration last July, we booked a reservation at Lantern on a Sunday. Lantern is a rooftop bar located in Fullerton Bay Hotel. We made sure to book a timeslot that would allow us to catch the sunset. We arrived at the restaurant with few people already there. We overheard at the lift that there would be fireworks later that night as part of the NDP practice. We were excited as we did not expect this. The usual schedule for the NDP practice was on Saturdays so we were very lucky. The food menu was typical bar food. We also ordered cocktails to go with the food we ordered while watching parts of the NDP practice closer. We were really intending to stay just to see the sunset but since there were fireworks scheduled for that day, we extended for a bit. When time came for the fireworks, everyone was so excited with our location making it seem like we’re closer to the fireworks. If you’re coming here, do not expect too much from the food and cocktails though. The food and cocktails are of the same level as other places in Singapore. Visited this rooftop bar at the Fullerton Bay hotel in downtown Singapore on a Sunday night. Thanks to the servers who cater to our last minute request to go up. It has gorgeous spectacular wave views of the Marina Bay Sands hotel and the rest of downtown. Great place to go post dinner or in the evening for round of drinks. Love the vibe that the music isn’t loud too. Thankfully the weather was quite nice and there are cooler fans placed around the bar so it’s pretty cooling. If you are looking for a roof top bar with fantastic night view, look no longer! Lantern is a roof top bar located directly on top of The Fullerton Bay Hotel. It provides a panoramic view of the marina bay. The fame marina bay Sands hotel is directly in view and many people visit this bar just to take photos with the marina bay Sands in the background. As this is more of a bar, food menu here is small. Most of the items on the food menu are small bites and the price is higher than average. I tried their lobster roll and its enough for two if you are just taking it as sides. They do have a decent selection of drinks. I ended up with my favourite, red wine. The bar on the top floor of the Fulton Bay Hotel Open-air environment, next to the swimming pool, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of Marina Bay. There will be a BBQ buffet on the last Sunday of every month. The price of cocktails is relatively moderate. Non-alcoholic drinks are available in more than a dozen new, which is still quite cost-effective. We went to Lantern, a bar on the rooftop of the Fullerton Bay Hotel. Take the elevator to the R floor. When you get off, you can see Marina Bay Sands right in front of you✨ When you get off the elevator, there is a reception desk on the right, so tell them the number of people in your group and they will guide you to your table. We went around 11pm on a Saturday night and were able to sit at a table on the bay front without having to wait. Drinks are not cheap, with beers costing around S$17 and cocktails starting from S$25, but it's worth going because you can see the beautiful view right in front of you🫶🏻
