Notes on the Danish Mermaid Statue
#UnparalleledSeaview #OverseasTravel #Denmark
When you think of Denmark, you must think of blue jar cookies (me too), but in fact, Denmark has another national treasure, the famous fairy tale writer Andersen. His fairy tale mermaids should be well-known to every household, so the Danish government helped him make a seaside statue to show his contribution. A few years ago I went to Danish backpack, of course to see the mermaid style! I remember the day I dropped off my things at the hostel, rested for a while and left to find the mermaid, I strolled through the streets of Copenhagen, stopped and took pictures, the city of Copenhagen is indeed very good, both cars and people are very polite, even you If you accidentally run a red light, you will pass first. After an hour or so of walking, I finally arrived at the waterfront park where the mermaids are located. The mermaid statue is placed on a stone by the sea, the bronze statue is lifelike, as if the mermaid princess is waiting for the return of her beloved prince. However, I see many people climbing close to stones or even statues to take pictures, in fact, doing so is not only dangerous, but also very disrespectful to the local culture, so do not imitate! However, after this trip, my trip to do list can be crossed off again!
