[2025 Saint Moritz Attraction] Travel Guide for Lake St Moritz (Updated Feb)

We started our walk from St. Moritz train station, following the lakeside path into the town center. Due to the snow, some parts of the road were very muddy and slushy, but wearing snow boots made walking quite manageable! A walk around the lake is something you shouldn't miss. If this doesn't make you feel good, nothing will. On clear days, the environment here is truly ethereal, with the reflection of the snowy mountains mirrored in the clear, calm lake. The scenery at sunset is serene. Remember to bring your camera, as every corner by the lake offers a perfect photo opportunity! Taking in the beautiful views of the town and surrounding mountains is well worth your time! The nearby Coop store and surrounding delicious restaurants will surely make your trip unforgettable.

#tripaway ST MORITZ St.Moritz is very quiet and peaceful! The lake is right in front of the train station! We came early to strode around enjoying the beautiful no wind day, which gave us this beautiful reflection of the surrounding!Romantic too,I highly recommend this place:) #tripaway

Initially a summer destination, it gained fame in the mid-19th century as winter tourism flourished. Its frozen surface hosts the prestigious White Turf horse race during winter. The lake's pristine beauty, surrounded by snow-capped peaks, makes it a haven for outdoor enthusiasts year-round. On a sunny day after a gentle snowfall, my family and I experienced the enchantment of Lake St. Moritz. The sun transformed the landscape into a glistening winter wonderland. Bundled up against the chill, we embarked on a leisurely walk around the lake, the snow crunching beneath our boots.
