Fall in Twizel and the Mackenzie
#fallishere
We spent a weekend exploring around Twizel and the Mackenzie basin and managed to get some nice Autumn colours.
Crisp air, clear skies ringed by snow-capped mountains and an abundance of gorgeous colour!
In Mackenzie there are plenty of deciduous trees and there is no end of places to see the colours at this place.
Twizel has plenty of areas to view the autumnal colours. Try walking along the Twizel River, or out at Lake Ruataniwha. You will see thousands of exotic trees being planted all around the township.
