If you visit by car, it is about a 2.5 hour drive from Aomori city and about a 2 hour drive from Hirosaki city. This pool is incredibly blue, and it looks even more mysterious and profound under the sunlight. The pool water is crystal clear and surrounded by lush green forests. It is definitely a miracle of nature. There is also a Qingchi blue soft serve ice cream here. The color is as dreamy as the Qingchi pond and the taste is refreshing. It is really refreshing to have one in the summer! 📍 Third stop: Lunch at Jujuko Station Back at Jujuko Station, we chose the local miso ramen for lunch. The thick soup and chewy noodles were simple but memorable, and a big surprise during the trip! 📍 Fourth stop: Spa Zhuangshan & Bu Lao Bu Si Hot Spring We continued on the train and arrived at this hot spring by the sea. The name of the Immortal Hot Spring sounds very mysterious. The hot spring pool is built on the seashore. You can enjoy the unparalleled sea view while taking a bath. It is an ultimate relaxing experience! 📍 Fifth stop: Senjojiki Coast The last stop, the train stays here for about 15 minutes. This is a magnificent rocky coast. Standing on the beach, feeling the salty sea breeze and stepping on the fine sand, it is as beautiful as a painting at sunset. They were selling soft serve ice cream made with Aoike cider. I had apple juice to rehydrate. Twelve Lakes (Juniko Twelve Lakes, Juniko means 12 lakes in Japanese) is a collective name for 33 ponds and lakes. This area is also listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site due to its beautiful scenery. In April this year, I visited the Twelve Lakes in Aomori Shirakami Sanchi. I took the Japan Railway from Akita to Juniko Station and stayed at the Awone Shirakami Juniko Hotel for two days and one night. I wandered around the Twelve Lakes with the hotel's tour guide. It is truly a beautiful place with various lakes, reflections of the forests in the water, and birds in the mountains, like a fairyland! Additionally, the food at the hotel was top-notch, offering high-quality Japanese cuisine!

Lake Juniko This tourist spot is so beautiful that it has been selected as part of the Shirakami Sanchi Natural World Heritage Site. It is located in Fukauramachi, Aomori Prefecture, Tohoku Region, Japan. It is quite a long journey. If you take the express train from Aomori Station to Juniko Station, it will take more than 3 hours, and it will take 6 hours.
