my short trip to Da Nang!
Arrived at Da Nang airport safely and took a cab to check-in hotel, took a short rest and out we go. First location I went to Lady Buddha, place was very windy and you can see the cities of Danang. Went to MyKhe beach the next day morning to take a short walk, checked out of hotel and went to Sunworld Bana Hills. Took a 15mins cable car up there and there is this concierge staff took us to our hotel to check-in, how nice. So we spend our day at Bana Hills, not to left out the famous Golden Bridge which you definitely have to see. Place is very windy so I recommend having a jacket & pants if you are afraid of cold. Next day we went to Hoi An, people there are friendly and good is great. Took their famous boat ride which is a must, but beware of the prices because some might overcharge more. Weather is very hot there in the afternoon fyi, please wear something light and don’t get heat stroke. Enjoy every moments at Danang, definitely will come back again the next time!

Linh Ung pagoda - Son Tra district
Linh Ung Pagoda Da Nang on Son Tra peninsula is about 10km from the city center. This is the temple that owns the most beautiful natural scenery that you should not miss when traveling to Da Nang. The temple leans back on the peninsula, facing the East Sea, surrounded by Cu Lao Cham Island, in the distance is the wonderful scenery of Hai Van Pass.

#traveldiaries
The outstanding Lady Buddha statue. The most prominent feature of Linh Ung Da Nang Pagoda is the Lady Buddha statue, which is the tallest one in Vietnam with a height of 67 meters, equivalent to that of a 30-floor building. The Lady Buddha statue is placed on a lotus-shaped foundation with a diameter of 35 meters.
And it is one of the most impressive places to visit in Da Nang, and it's the tallest Buddha statue in Vietnam. Located on Son Tra Peninsula, the 67-meter tall statue overlooks Da Nang city and provides stunning views of the ocean.

Lady Buddha offers an incredible view. The bonsai garden around it is very elegant and simple.
Entrance is free, and Lady Buddha is quite popular with many tourists. From here, you can also enjoy the view of the sea in Danang.
Linh Ung Pagoda and Lady Buddha are open every day from 6 AM to 9 PM. Since there is no fee to enjoy the scenery, visitors can come anytime within this timeframe, as long as their trip is comfortable.

Lady Budha- Camellia Peninsula Vietnam 🌸☺️
#vietnamtrip
The Lingyin Temple on the Camellia Peninsula is located "kilometers away from the center of Vietnam's Port of Vietnam". We took a taxi using Grab, which is more transparent than taxi prices. There are the most and largest Guanyin statues in it. No matter what angle you look up to her, you will feel that she is looking at you. There are also eighteen Arhat, which look very kind. I also saw precious and rare animals such as the Java monkey and the long tailed monkey playing games, seemingly swearing that this is their territory, running close to others chasing you to participate. It should be said that it is really cute.. The most amazing thing is still looking down from a high place, it's really a sea halfway up the mountain, especially handled well. 🇻🇳Mesmerizing Lady Buddha🇻🇳
Another highlight here at the famous and well visited Linh Ung Pagoda is the Linh Ung Tower, a seven-story pagoda-style tower that offers a panoramic view of the surrounding area. It is such a beauty and it stands out as one of the most stunning structures in these grounds.
There are also other structures on the ground that are just built beautifully.
Upon entering the grounds you can already witness the tower while driving up. The colors and design is also so unique that one can’t miss this sight at all.
Definitely a must see when you visit this place!

Son Tra Peninsula's Lady Buddha
Just 20 minutes from Hyatt Da Nang, where we were staying, is the Son Tra Peninsula where the tallest pagoda in Vietnam stands - the Lady Buddha.
The view from here is great! You could see the Da Nang coast and the tall buildings in Da Nang. Aside from that, you could also explore the temples in this place and enjoy the amazing scuptures. There are also lots of friendly furry monkeys here! 🐒

#danang in Central #vietnam is full of fascinating history and culture, and nowhere is that more evident than at the giant Lady Buddha statue. Carved along the side of a mountain overlooking the ocean, this 67-meter-tall statue (otherwise known as the Linh Ung Pagoda) is also the tallest Buddha statue in Vietnam. There are also beautiful temples near the statue and the pagoda offers a stunning view of Da Nang below. We visited the Lady Buddha statue as part of a donation tour through christinas.vn. The tour was led by very knowledgeable local college students. They explained to us in English the history of the statue. I’d highly recommend using this service if you’re in Vietnam!
