High quality delicious Spanish cuisine
Torelló Brut Reserva $88 (Sparkling wine)
Before enjoying the food, have an aperitif. The store recommends this sparkling wine produced in 2017. The wine is clear and transparent, with delicate bubbles, and a refreshing taste of green apple, lemon, citrus, etc.
60-month Iberico Ham Platter $288
The store puts the air-dried Iberian black pork leg in the middle of the restaurant (right next to us). After you place an order, the waiter will slice it immediately and serve it. The wine-red color and the even distribution of fat make it salty, fragrant and oily, and the meat has a nutty aroma ~ It's delicious!
The Real Tomato Bread $78
You always see this one when watching foreign food shows! The ingredients are very simple: crispy sliced bread, salt, fresh tomato slices, raw garlic and olive oil! The method is also very simple. First, spread fresh tomatoes and raw garlic on the crispy bread, and then sprinkle with salt and olive oil to season. The taste is completely adjustable. These few steps can create delicious tapas! Very interesting and interactive~
Viña Esmeralda $88 (White wine)
It would be perfect to change to another wine to pair with the warmer tapas~ Continue with the wine recommended by the store, and change to the 2021 white wine, which is rich in fruity aroma, slightly sweet and fresh, with a rich and fragrant aroma. It tastes very pleasant and delicious. I like this very much!
Ham croquettes $50/2 pieces
This is a delicious snack that is fried upon order. It has a crispy outside and soft inside. The potato puree is smooth and there are a lot of ham slices inside. It is very salty and fragrant. It is small enough to satisfy your appetite, but it is extremely evil!
Spanish beef mini burger, pickles & chipotle mayo $158/2 pieces
Another tapas is a cute mini burger! Don’t underestimate this, it’s small but well prepared, the bread is slightly toasted, the beef burger is meaty and juicy, paired with homemade spicy mayonnaise and pickles to neutralize the greasiness, the taste is just right!
Cochinillo $280
Highly recommended signature dish: Spanish roast suckling pig! The appearance is so attractive that I am already drooling ~ The skin is baked until golden and crispy, and the aroma is fragrant; there is a thin layer of fat under the skin, the meat is rich in flavor, tender and juicy, it is delicious! The accompanying cauliflower and other vegetables were all roasted to perfection, and it was really delicious to eat both together.
Paella De dos Sabores $498
Now comes to tonight’s main dish: Spanish fried rice (Paella)! We suggest you order a double combo so you can have an extra flavor! The seafood flavor uses a lot of ingredients: lobster, clams, squid, shrimp and mussels, all fresh, sweet, refreshing and chewy; the other one uses Valencia chicken as the main ingredient, with rosemary, green beans and bamboo shoots, which are rarely found in Hong Kong, as side dishes, giving it a completely different flavor! Traditional Paella is a bit salty because it is cooked over low heat with broth and other seasonings until the rice is cooked through. However, these two versions are not too salty and instead have more umami flavor. The rice is also distinct and shiny with an Al Dente texture, and is edible even socarrat (Spanish for burnt rice)! The taste and texture are very rich, and the portion is large enough for 2-3 people, so it's best to share it together.
Digestives $40
As dinner draws to a close, the waiter will recommend a glass of digestive wine before dessert to help digestion, which is a tradition in Spain and other European countries. There are 3 flavors of digestive wine. We chose coffee (Orujo De Café) and mixed vanilla (Orujo De Hierbas). Compared with the first two flavors, Orujo De Hierbas is a bit stronger in both taste and alcohol concentration. It is an alcoholic beverage made from distilled spirits, with a high sweetness and prominent coffee and vanilla flavors. If you are not a good drinker (like us), you may find it a bit difficult to handle.
Tarta De Queso $78
Coming to the last delicacy: Basque cheesecake with mixed berry sorbet, it has a strong cheese flavor and is solid and delicious, but it lacks the runny texture in the middle, so it’s a bit of a stretch to call it a Basque cheesecake! Paired with the frozen sweet and sour mixed berry sorbet, the berry aroma neutralizes the greasy feeling of the cheesecake, and it is very refreshing.
The store is located less than a minute away from the exit of Sai Ying Pun MTR station. When you enter the restaurant, you will be immediately attracted by the unique and exotic decoration. The painted tiles are matched with colorful chandeliers, and the environment is elegant and flavorful! Every dish in this restaurant is full of strong Spanish flavor. I heard that it is because the chef of the restaurant is a native Spaniard, so the dishes are more authentic than those of similar restaurants outside.
The service attitude of the waiter is very good, from admission to recommendation of dishes to introduction of each dish, everything is done very thoughtfully! The atmosphere was even better. First of all, many foreign friends came to have dinner and it was very lively with singing and dancing! Perfectly feel the passionate and unrestrained character of the Spanish people ~ If you come here with friends to eat and chat, you will stay here for several hours without realizing it!
