[Tokyo, Shoin Shrine Shopping Street] La Godaille - A unique menu that changes every day
#0yentravelJanuary2025
La Godaille in Shoin Shrine Shopping Street is a French restaurant run by the husband, a chef, and his wife, a sommelier.
The name of the restaurant is said to come from the French (slang) meaning "beef drink horse food," which expresses eating and drinking a lot.
The "vegetable assortment" is written at the top of the blackboard as a standard appetizer menu, and everyone who visits orders it. These are side dishes of vegetables that are just as good as the main course. It was really delicious. It's been since my trip to Italy that I've felt such a strong vegetable flavor. Their commitment to using organic, outdoor-grown vegetables really comes through in the taste.
The menu at La Godaille changes every day. Many restaurants collect ingredients with the menu in mind, but at La Godaille, the menu is created with the ingredients in mind.
I want to enjoy the once-in-a-lifetime encounter with the menu.
