One of the most anticipated transportation experiences during my visit to Kyushu, Japan, was taking the popular sightseeing train "Yufuin-no-Mori" from Hakata to Yufuin and Beppu in Oita Prefecture. The booking process for this train is actually very simple. I selected the departure time and seat through the official website of JR Kyushu, and received a confirmation email after payment. After boarding the Yufuin-no-Mori train, the atmosphere in the entire carriage made me feel very relaxed. The interior of the train has a strong European and elegant style. There are many pictures of Yufuin scenery and some exquisite details on the decoration. Walking in it feels like walking in the forest. The overall atmosphere makes people feel very comfortable. There are many facilities on the train and a variety of meals are provided to make the ride more enriching. I specially ordered the "Yufuin Wheeled Rice" for 1,000 yen (tax included). The portion was generous and the taste was quite delicious, which made me even happier when I enjoyed it in the car. Overall, the ride on the Yufuin Forest was very pleasant. Whether it was the comfortable carriage or the beautiful scenery outside the window, this trip was full of memories. Instead, I recommend you to definitely get the first car! ㅎㅎ 🍱 Buy a bento at Hakata Station Ekibento before boarding, and then ride Yufuin no Mori and have fun eating. ㅎㅎ There are various types of lunch boxes and there are quite a few Ekibento stores, but if you go to the biggest store, you'll get the most types, so go to the biggest one! Aside from the bento, I went to Family Mart's Mentaiko Mayo Onigiri Rice Ball Wangchangsa, so please eat that with the Jebeol Bento.. plz. #springsummer2024 Kinlin Lake is located in Oita, Japan. We took the Yufuin Forest Train and walked about 30 minutes from Yufuin Station to Kinlin Lake. However, this short 30-minute journey took us almost an afternoon🤣 because the small shops and snacks on both sides would make us stop accidentally😮💨 We finally found Jinlin Lake. Because hot springs flow into the lake, white smoke is emitted from the lake all year round. The Yufuin-no-Mori train departs from Hakata Station.
