Kyung Hee University doesn't look like Seoul

During my recent trip to Seoul, South Korea, my family and I decided to visit Kyung Hee University, one of the most beautiful University campuses in Seoul. It sure did not disappoint. Pictures do not do it justice, hence I highly recommend for those visiting Seoul to go to Kyung Hee University and see it for yourself. Bonus? It is the largest performance hall in the East and was built in 1999 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Kyunghee University. It is a medieval Gothic-style building with beautiful stained glass that expresses the 50 years of Kyunghee history. Kyunghee university was exceptionally breathtaking!!!! It was my first time there after many visits to Seoul and I regret not heading over there earlier :( The slopes are so steep but nonetheless, still a great place for a walk (!!probably not in the hot summer!!) There’s actually a place about 10 minutes walk away with a yummy dish, bulbaek (introduced by my Korean friend and we loved it!!! - The place is called Sollanggu)

It's nicknamed Kyunghee Land because the cherry blossoms bloom so beautifully, but did you know that Kyunghee University is also famous for double cherry blossoms? (Double cherry blossoms usually bloom around mid-April to late April after the cherry blossoms have fallen.) Double cherry blossoms bloom the prettiest near the open-air theater! And since the main building of Kyunghee University is also very pretty, I recommend that you go to the open-air theater after taking a walk around the main building :)
