The best free spot to view beautiful hydrangeas in Tokyo is actually here!
Because of work, I only stayed in Tokyo for a short thirty-some hours and didn't have time to go to Kamakura to take pictures of hydrangeas. I found a free spot in Tokyo to enjoy the hydrangeas online, and it was even more stunning in person!
👉🏻 Kyu-Nakagawa Waterfront Park (Kyu-Nakagawa Mizube Kouen) Kyu-Nakagawa
⭕ The densely blooming hydrangeas line both banks of the river, and they come in a variety of colors. With the hydrangeas in the foreground, you can take layered photos that include Tokyo's Skytree and passing trains.
⭕ It is recommended to come around six o'clock (Tokyo's sunset time is around seven o'clock in the summer), when the light is softer, and you can also wait until after the sun sets to take pictures of the illuminated Skytree. ) There are not many visitors, so it's easy to get a shot without people in it.
⭕ The photo was taken on 6.13, and it is currently the peak bloom season, so if you want to take pictures, do it soon!
