Kyoto Station, a super train station.
Kyoto Station, a super train station, that's my review.
The modern side of Kyoto - the super train station "Kyoto Station"
Kyoto is simple, Kyoto is elegant, Kyoto is delicate, Kyoto is slow, Kyoto is the "real Japan"... Among all the labels for Kyoto, "Kyoto is modern" is not one of them.
The 1,200-year-old ancient capital needs to be protected by the people of Kyoto, so the subway in Kyoto is not very developed, the buildings cannot be built too high, and the roads cannot be widened... But if you think that keeping the old can make you brilliant for a thousand years, that is too young, too simple.
Kyoto has two sides, "tradition and innovation", and you can see this from the super train station "Kyoto Station".
Kyoto Station was questioned by all parties when it was built.
Since the construction of Kyoto Tower in 1963, it has caused a great stir, and the old people of Kyoto hated this strange building that soared into the sky; not to mention the Kyoto Station, which opened in 1997, with its gorgeous steel canopy, a large square or staircase that can be turned into an exhibition hall at any time. From the controversy to now becoming a pilgrimage site for architecture students, the people of Kyoto must have mixed feelings!
Subway, JR, Shinkansen, private railway, bus, you can go to the airport and anywhere you want to go in Kyoto City with super convenience. Shopping, cosmetics, Kyoto specialties, fashion clothes... You can shop till you drop in large department stores and various specialty stores. Eating, there are two or three hundred restaurants in Kyoto Station, and famous restaurants are gathered here. Even if you don't shop, eat, or take the train, Kyoto Station is a good place to relax.
