An elegant castle located in Connemara, County Galway, Ireland: Klimmo Abbey
Once considered by the world to be Ireland's most beautiful castle estate, its vast expanse of land has many beautiful buildings, gardens and lakes. Wait, it is definitely one of the most worthwhile places to visit in Ireland. At the beginning of the monastery, it was called "Kelimo Castle", in order to commemorate the name of the Benedictine nun who fled Belgium during World War II.
The castle in the manor covers an area of 3,400 square meters and is entirely made of granite and limestone. There are many rooms inside, including a ballroom, billiards room, library, study, smoking room, ordnance room and more. During the First World War, the Benedictine nuns who moved from Belgium bought the castle and the castle was renamed Kellymore Abbey. After the end of World War II, the nuns converted part of the castle into a womens boarding school managed by them. Today, walking through the manor, you can see many church buildings.
Unlike other tourist attractions, Ireland is a relatively unpopular tourist area, and there are naturally fewer tourists. The reason why it is sparsely populated, even if it is just a castle manor, has an unparalleled view, except Outside the small and exquisite garden, you can even cross the forest here, overlooking the mountains, rivers and lakes, and all kinds of scenery.
