Thing that you can do in Bali is Surfing, many people come to this island to try Surfing. Place that i recommend you to try surfing class is in Kuta-Legian beach, you can take surfing class in this area with affordable price.
Kuta Beach is the most famous of all of Bali's beaches, primarily because tourism in Bali began with Kuta Beach. The long stretch of golden sand provides a beautiful coastline for beachgoers and a safe bottom for surfers of all levels.

Kuta Beach Bali β±οΈ
Although Bali has hundred of beaches, Kuta is still everyone favorite seaside to visit. We can do sightseeing, jogging, playing water sports, etc. If you wanna go shopping, just drop by Beachwalk, a shopping mall just right in front of Kuta Beach.
Basically there's no entrance fee to Kuta Beach. But if you ride your own motorbike and park around the beach, you only need to pay the parking fee. Cheap and convenient.

Sunny Day at Kuta
#bali
A half day spent at Kuta area. Our first stop is at Kuta Beach. The place is still empty. But the sound of waves fill the at atmosphere. So breezy yet the sun was scorching hot.
We took many pictures especially at the main gate. The beach is quite unclean and rubbish was everywhere. Quite an eyesore.
Then we headed to Hard Rock Shop to purchase souvenirs and some other shops along the stretch. You can get a good deal of souveniers and painting. Of course, we didnt miss the chance to get ourselves a good massage at nearby spa

Bali Sunsets
The sunsets in Bali have been the one. We've been up and down the west coast from Uluwatu at the bottom and moving up through Kuta, Legian, Double Six, Seminyak, Petitenget, Canggu, Echo, Pantai Munggu, Tanah Lot, Kedungu and Soka.
Echo beach has been our favourite so far for the black sand beaches and amazing surf spot, even if you can't surf you can give it a go a bit further down where it isn't busy or just watch as it truly amazing while the sun is going down.

Kuta beach
Kuta Beach is one of the iconic beaches on the Bali island. Kuta Beach is located in Kuta District, Badung Regency, Bali. This beach is very close to the airport, only about 10 minutes using a vehicle. In this beach area, there are many hotels, shopping places, restaurants, or nightlife spots. there are many activities that you can do on this beach such as sunbathing, playing beach ball or just enjoying the beauty of the beach with a bottle of beer. the activity that I most recommend there is surfing because the waves on Kuta beach are not too big so it is perfect for beginner surfers. the price of food or drinks that you can buy on the beach is around IDR 10k-50k and if you bring a vehicle you will be charged IDR 5k. Happy vacation!

ROJIMA COFFEE - KUTA
ROJIMA COFFEE Jl. Merta Nadi No.88E, Kuta
this shop Rojima Coffee is located right beside the road, so it's not hard to find. Rojima coffee seems to be very patent in exploring coffee, it can be seen from the variants that present quite a lot of signature menus. Trying it from the normal hot coffee variant, we think this can be a go to coffee hooping for those who really hunt for coffee flavors. Since we haven't tried the coffee beer that is displayed on the barista's table, so we can't say much, but maybe you guys can try it *hihi* The quality of the Internet at this shop is quite normal, not too slow and not too fast, so you can spend time working at this shop. Not recommended for those whose work requires internet with lightning quality, right? The interior of this shop has a friendly impression, the hallmark of a shop that welcomes coffee friends who want to spend time with friends while sipping good coffee. In the indoor part, Rojima did not forget to put an artistic accent that is pleasing to the eye. Divided into two rooms, namely, indoor and outdoor where #semetonbcs can work comfortably in the indoor area with minimal vehicle noise and the outdoor has quite a lot of plugs and backrest chairs and tables that are high enough for work, which is definitely a smoking area.

Family-owned and operated, Febri's Hotel & Spa also prides itself on being one of the most family-friendly hotels in Bali (it's very popular with Australian tourists for that reason). This hotel also often hosts return visitors (many guests come back year after year for vacation).
The lobby of the hotel is open-air with high teakwood ceilings, a few chairs, and a small bar/vending area. The grounds are lovely and tropical with stone pathways, green trees, and the occasional statue.
The spa is a draw for guests of the hotel as well as outside tourists. Because it is well run, professional, and offers a variety of services, it definitely becomes a big part of the culture at this hotel with many guests enjoying multiple treatments during their stays. Though Kuta is very busy, there is a tranquility within the confines of the resort that is surprising.
The overall vibe is warm. People seem to be happy and enjoying their stays, and the staff members are kind and aim to please.

This hotel is resort-sized with a lot of amenities making it popular for all types of vacationers, from couples to families with small children. A large fountain at the entrance and huge covered archways give the property a grand feeling right from the get-go. The lobby is massive and sets the scene well with its open-air configuration, high ceilings, marbles floors/pillars, ornamental figurines, and multiple reception/check-in areas. Souvenir shops and concierge services are also available.
In general, the resort is quiet, especially considering that it's located in a busy area. The grounds are green and tropical with stone pathways leading to the various buildings. Large amounts of open space allows for nice airflow and breezes throughout the complex. On occasion, however, when the wind is particularly strong and the waves are high, small amounts of ocean water can roll all the way through the seaside restaurant.

Colorful plants and tall statues adorn the entrance to the Bali Dynasty Resort and welcome drinks are offered at check-in as guests step inside. The peaked wooden Balinese ceiling overhead contrasts the contemporary woven chairs and love seats throughout the modern lobby with its red-and-black granite floor. Grounds include beautiful palm trees, plants, a duck pond, and a large koi pond as well as a lush garden run through by a wooden walkway. Hallways throughout have an atrium-like quality, with stone gardens at the ground floor level, and wooden banisters lining the floors overhead. The Hospitality Lounge, for early arrivals and late departures, is a smart addition here and has locker rooms, flat-screen TVs, and free coffee, tea, and newspapers.
The hotel offers plenty of restaurants and bars, ranging from the Irish pub style of popular Gracie Kelly's to the laid-back poolside Sunset Bar. This is a family-friendly resort through and through, and there are kids' clubs and activities as well as a small water park on site, though couples stay here as well.

Permata Kuta Hotel is popular both with vacationers and those in town on business. The ambience is low key and relaxed, but the busy urban location is quite noisy. There are plenty of common areas to relax in and stylings throughout are contemporary, but slightly mismatched, as if the hotel has undergone several rounds of partial decor renovations. The on-site facilities are fairly complete. The pool is somewhat shaded by the hotel buildings, but features a nice setting that includes some tropical greenery and tall palm trees. There are only a few lounge chairs laid out around the pool, but the area rarely gets crowded, as most of the guests who stay here tend to spend their days out exploring downtown Kuta or relaxing on the nearby beaches. The property doesn't feature any open grounds or gardens and there is little greenery, except for the small patches that line the swimming pool.

Although Amnaya Resort is located just a short walk from the buzz of downtown Kuta, inside the property the ambience stays consistently serene. The hotel's common areas feature comfy seating and stylish interiors with quality paintings and art installations on display throughout. The design elements are a collaboration of some of Bali's most well known artists, architects, and landscapes designers -- including the late Made Wijaya (an iconic Balinese/Australian landscape designer), Pintor Sirait (one of Indonesias most highly acclaimed metal sculptors), Martin Grounds (architect of the Four Seasons Jimbaran and St. Regis Bali), and Jason Childs (a popular ocean and surf photographer).
Sukun Restaurant has gorgeously appointed interiors that feature a combination of traditional Balinese stylings and chic modern design elements. The restaurant is housed in a palatial semi open-air space with views of the pool and koi ponds. The interior features include raw concrete pillars, handmade copper lighting fixtures, delicate wire art installations, and painted ceiling cloud murals. The outdoor swimming pool is centered in the property and tends to be a hub of activity throughout the day. There are plenty of lounge chairs laid out around the pool for guests, and the intimate setting is lined with tropical greenery. Most of the guests are vacationing couples.

This hotel sits on the same property as the Kuta Beach Hotel of the 1930s, which was one of the first hotels in the area. That being said, there's not much about this hotel that feels vintage, and instead the atmosphere throughout is fresh and contemporary. A nautical theme inspired by the mythical Riva Boat is used in the hotel, with many details related to surfing, yachting, fishing, and seafaring. The blend of local touches, French style, and a few tasteful throwback details helps to create what is one of Kuta's more upmarket options, and one of the few luxurious properties that we've found in town. Dark wood tones, creamy tiled floors, and pops of bright colors like blue and coral help make everything look fresh, and the welcome drink and cool towel are a nice touch.
The hotel has a lively vibe, and guests can be found drinking and kicking back in the multiple restaurants and bars, and around the sleek rooftop pool, until fairly late. Couples and groups of friends are far and away the most frequent guests here, though families do pass through as well despite a lack of kid-friendly features and the hotel's more party-centric atmosphere.

Indonesian statues lead to the Bali Agung Village, a traditional, tranquil Balinese hotel with thatched roofs and wood carvings set under tall palm trees. Earth tones, high ceilings, and live plants define the homey, authentic Balinese common areas, from the lobby to the restaurant -- many of which are open air. A large garden with statues, trees, and flowers adds to the old-fashioned feel. It could be called an oasis, and has a lot of character in an area of Bali quickly being converted into sleek, modern properties. Most guests are vacationing families and couples.
The Bali Agung Village is in the center of Seminyak, in an alley off of a traffic-laden street, surrounded by nightlife and restaurants. Seminyak is less wild than Kuta, but isn't a tranquil tropical getaway by any stretch of the imagination.

Built in 1991 and last renovated in 2013, Grand Balisani Suites is a quiet, upper-middle-range beachfront resort dominated by traditional Balinese styling. This 1.8-hectare (4.4 acres) property incorporates lots of dark wood and thatch, as well as simple earth-tone fabrics and large paintings. Grounds are particularly pleasant, thanks to meandering pathways interspersed with koi ponds and a pool.
However, there are also plenty of stairs, and the lack of elevators might put some travelers off. While the property gets some families, most travelers are couples looking for a property within easy reach of the bustling tourist center.
Grand Balisani Suites offers a good range of vacation-friendly amenities. The pool sits between the resort building and the beach and features an elevated kids' section, and a covered bar off to one side. There are a few lounge chairs on the wooden deck surrounding the pool, with more situated on a grassy lawn overlooking the beach. The beach itself is separated from the property by a narrow road and there are a few lounge chairs here owned by a third party that guests can rent. However, the waves here are powerful, making it downright dangerous for swimming and only experienced surfers should attempt to surf here.

As one of the older hotels in Kuta, the homey Adi Dharma Hotel celebrates its heritage with authentic Balinese architecture, including old-fashioned carvings and red tile roofs. A traditional Balinese style flows through the cozy, open-air lobby, which has a gray stone front desk set against antique wood furniture.
Gold trim around the ceiling and pillars of the restaurant adds to the vintage feel, as does the thatched roof, and there is a huge garden with gorgeous native plants and rock fountains flowing into koi ponds. It's a tranquil spot in the middle of wild Kuta, and includes features like a meditation hall and spa. Vacationing families and older couples frequent this hotel.

White Rose Kuta Resort - The White Roseβs grounds feel like something of a secret garden, with well-tended lawns and a water fountain accented with animal statues that shoot water from their mouths. The hotel's presentable, low-rise cream-and-brown exterior has a local feel, and the entrance has a pagoda-like design. The bright, spacious lobby has high ceilings, local flower arrangements, and an interior balcony with an attractive black railing, dark-wood-panel edging, and an elaborate staircase -- but overall the space still feels somewhat impersonal and generic. The attractive curved pool, surrounded by rooms and tree-lined lawns, complements a smaller, shallow pool and an elevated whirlpool (with fountain), but the tiling is old and discolored in places. Wood-framed padded sunbeds sit under large and attractive modern parasols.
The partly open-air spa feels stylish and intimate, and treatment rooms are especially stunning. Open-air Lotus restaurant and Bunut Cafe are generally bright and attractive, while Tulip Lounge has a garishly clashing color scheme and dated marble-like flooring. Most guests here are couples and families on vacation.

Brown metal arches and tons of greenery cover the modern, minimalist, eco-friendly Eden Hotel Kuta Bali, creating a laid-back ambience throughout. A curvy free-form front desk and cut-outs in the ceiling suggest leaves, while greens, purples, and trees accentuate the effect and break up the neutral common areas. Much of the hotel is open-air, with a Lounge Deck and a Sunken Pool Bar, where drinks and snacks are served throughout the day. Given the number of kid-friendly amenities, the hotel draws large numbers of families, but couples, business, and solo travelers find their way here too. The Eden Hotel Kuta Bali is in the southern area of Kuta, surrounded by souvenir shops and restaurants.

The vibe at the NEO + Kuta Legian is youthful and energetic -- in fact, it's a bit wild and loud at times. A majority of the guests that come through the hotel are young couples and groups of friends in Kuta for the party scene and beach culture. Most of the activity throughout the day is centered around the lap pool, which many of the rooms and the restaurant overlook. The pool is surrounded by a large wooden deck lined with lounge chairs as well as a few comfy day beds. Although the pool area lacks a garden, it does feature a few flowering frangipani trees and long vines that add some nice greenery to the environment.
There's also a quiet and laid-back lounge area that overlooks the pool. It has a variety of seating, both indoors and on open-air on the balcony, and is a fine alternative for those looking for a little relative peace. Design throughout the hotel is contemporary and clean, featuring carved sandstone reliefs, potted palms, and floors are a combination natural grey stone tiles and light colored wood. Overall, for those who want something that's a sharp step up from the budget crash pads all around, but still want to party, this will fit the bill.

Satriya Cottages - This classic hotel is about 30 years old, making it one of the oldest in Kuta, and while it has a bit of charm and everything is well-kept, the style will look a bit dated to most travelers. Owned by locals, it's a budget-friendly place with traditional Balinese character that makes quite a first impression. Stone columns and statues mark the entranceways, and the lobby features ornately carved wooden statues and furniture, as well as stone and bamboo columns. Cushioned wood and rattan seating provides various places for guests to sit within the exuberantly appointed space.
There's nothing fussy or pretentious here, and it's one of the area's more well-liked options. The large garden and spacious pool area are a bit unique for a property that's located right in central Kuta, and are a big draw for guests. Satriya Cottages is particularly popular with Australian tourists, as it's only a three-hour flight from Perth, and many of those who stay here are repeat guests. Others include couples, families, groups, and individuals looking for a well-priced option near the beach and in the heart of the Kuta action.

Dekuta Hotel - Black bars and detailed silver metalwork covered in vines adorn the modern, cube-like structure, which feels like a laid-back oasis in a rowdy area of Kuta. The spacious lobby has a chic, artsy style, with musicians' photos on the walls and vibrant colors reflected in the furniture and and deep-yellow accent walls. Nebula, a cafe frequented by guests and locals, has an urban vibe, with eclectic wall art and punches of different colors, while the Depalm Rooftop & Lounge offers Kuta views plus an outdoor faux-grass area with bean-bag style furniture and couches. Clientele is mostly couples and families from Australia, Bali, and other parts of Asia.
