Iya Onsen Hotel Recommendation 😍😍😍 Stayed at this Iya Noboku Manya Hotel, very close to Manbashi, although the transportation is not very convenient, but JR Obu Dano Station by taxi, is not too expensive 🚘 The room is not too small for a Japanese hot spring hotel, the most important thing is that the place is clean and tidy! Highlights: The Oku-Iya Kazurabashi is two of the surviving bridges still stand side by side deep in the inner valley. They are total of 13 suspension bridges made of mountain vines (kazurabashi) used to exist in the Iya Valley and provided a vital means of getting people and goods across the river in the past. This is really eye-opening as you wont be able to have this spectacular experience else where. The bridges are constructed with steel cables hidden within the vines for safety and are rebuilt every three years. They are connected to each other by a network of paved hiking trails that also lead to camping facilities on the far side of the river. The "Iya Kaze Bridge" is located in Miyoshi City, Tokushima Prefecture, Japan. It is an original suspension bridge built on natural vines over the Iya Gorge. The vine bridge is built with vines and is 14 meters above the river. When you walk on it, the suspension bridge will shake. The bridge deck is made only of logs and firewood. As you cross the bridge, you can enjoy the beautiful view of the clear river and deep green valley. When you are on the bridge, you will immediately feel the constant shaking and swaying of the bridge deck. I went to Biwa Falls in Iya Valley, Miyoshi City, Tokushima Prefecture! Biwa Falls is located next to Kazurabashi Bridge, a famous tourist spot in Iya Valley. It's not so hot that you get splashed with water, but it's a great waterfall that you can see up close! They sell grilled salted amago trout nearby, so you can eat it while you look at the waterfall. You can also go down to the riverside where the waterfall flows and play. The beautiful color of the river was very soothing~☺️ #BreathtakingView #PhotogenicSpot

Dinner at Iya Onsen! We enjoyed Tokushima Prefecture's famous products and local Miyoshi sake. The river fish Ayame was delicious! The menu was huge! You have to be hungry to get in...! To finish off, we were served Iya soba noodles and white rice!!! For sake, the Naruto Tai Junmai Ginjo was incredibly delicious! #onsen #gourmettrip
