I was really moved the moment I saw the crystal clear emerald blue sea, which is incomparable to Naha 🥺 Food and drinks are not allowed, but there are beach huts so you can feel safe 😋 I went there at the beginning of July, and it was really really hot, so I took good care of UV protection, but if you're in the sea, your body will cool down, so you can stay in as much as you want! There are many activities, but fish often come to the shallows, so I put my iPhone in a case and took a lot of pictures in the sea 🐠✨ I tried [parasailing 🪂] for the first time, and it was one of the best experiences of my life. The luxury of nothing✨ It feels like standing on the crystal clear Kerama blue sea✨ Kuefu Island in the Chibishi Islands is a flat island made of coral and shells, and is so small that you can easily see the whole island. The shape of the island changes with the tides. The coral shelves are amazing! You can swim with lots of sparkling fish✨ 20 minutes by high-speed boat from Tomari Port in Naha! There is no pier for the boat to dock, so we moved to a banana boat and landed⭐️ The beautiful sea is so close that it makes you feel excited♫ There are no regular boats to the island, so we took a deserted island landing tour. You can rent snorkeling equipment and wetsuits, and change on the boat. There are no toilets, so the boat is very useful. Actually, you can also enjoy the beautiful seascape of Okinawa's northern glass sea right in Naha by island hopping! We chose the well-developed Tokashiki Island, which is about 2km away from Tomari Port and International Street. ✅【Ferry Terminal】 ⭕️Tomari Port is an important port connecting the main island of Okinawa and several small islands nearby; ⭕️The ferry terminal is not large, and inside there are a few windows marked with different island names (Zamami Village, Kume Island, Tokashiki Island, etc.); ⭕️The Tokashiki Island window only accepts cash and credit card payments, electronic payments are not accepted. Next to it, Zamami Village can use online payment methods; ⭕️You must reserve the ferry from Tomari Port in advance on the official website; ⭕️The fast ferry takes 40 minutes, and the slow ferry takes 70 minutes. We booked the slow ferry for the whole journey, which costs 3310 Japanese yen, including a 100 yen environmental tax; ⭕️The slow ferry is quite stable, with a flat layer on 1F, which is highly recommended for friends who get seasick easily to sleep on the flat layer. I went to Tokashiki Island, about an hour by ferry from Tomari Port in Naha. The sea was crystal blue and really beautiful. The weather was great and the sun was strong, so I got a lot of sunburn. Access: From Tomari Port in Naha. The building is called "Tomarin." Reservations can be made by phone, online, or at the counter. *It was the high season in summer, so if you make a reservation a few days in advance it may be sold out, so I recommend making a reservation early! Prices: High-speed boat: ¥2,490, Ferry: ¥1,660 (both for adults/one-way) The ferry runs one round trip per day, and the high-speed boat runs two round trips per day in the morning and afternoon, but the number of round trips is increased to three round trips per day during Golden Week and weekends from July to September. Details can be found easily on the internet! Impressions: The ferry was crowded because so many people were boarding! If you get on early you can get a seat inside, but I got on just in time, so I relaxed on a chair outside with a roof! It wasn't a long ride, so some people sat on the floor and others stood and enjoyed the view. If you don't like boats, it's better to secure a seat early. You'll arrive at the island in no time! Okinawa🏝️ has five names (Okinawa, Naha, and Ryukyu). It is mainly divided into three parts: south, central, and north. Generally, 5–6 days are enough to explore the island. I'll share a 6-day itinerary. Day 1️⃣: First, have fun in the south. The route is Naminoue Shrine - beach - Tsuboya Yachimun Street - Ukishima Street - Makishi Public Market - Kokusai Street. The iconic Shisa lion🦁 can be seen everywhere. Day 2️⃣: Whale watching🐳 (this is a winter-limited activity from December to April). The chances of seeing whales are high. Even if you don't see them the first time, you can go again, so don't schedule this for the last day. It is recommended to take motion sickness medicine💊. Day 3️⃣: Watch the sea and sunset🌄 at Senaga Island, right where the planes take off and land✈️. You can get there by bus from the city center. There will be college students singing, planes taking off🛫 and landing🛬 overhead, and the atmosphere at sunset is beautiful. It's perfect for experiencing the local life. Day 4️⃣: Northern tour (it is recommended to book a day trip if you are staying in the south, as the distance is quite far). Manzamo - Kouri Island - Churaumi Aquarium - American Village. Manzamo is a grassy area large enough for 10,000 people to sit on. The cliff has been eroded to resemble an elephant's trunk🐘. The whale shark in the aquarium has been there for 30 years. Crayon Shin-chan has visited here. Day 5️⃣: You can arrange a one-day cycling tour🚴 in the south. You can search for nearby Hello Cycling on Alipay to rent electric-assisted bicycles. Departing from Tomari Port in the south, it takes about half an hour to get there. 🍝Food recommendations: 1️⃣Danbo: A ramen shop🍜 with almost constant queues. You can choose the firmness, spiciness, whether to add onions, and the thickness of the noodles. 2️⃣Soy milk ice cream🍦: Sold at the Churaumi Aquarium. They also have a pumpkin flavor, which is very special. 3️⃣Soba noodles: Delicious broth and chewy noodles. You'll fall in love with it after trying it😍. 4️⃣Sweet potato desserts: Many dessert shops here use sweet potatoes🍠, with unique shapes and sweet flavors. Very creative. 5️⃣Yakiniku: Recommended restaurant: Yakiniku Zipangu Motobu Ranch Wagyu Beef🥩. The plum wine is also very good, and there is a very handsome waiter. Okinawa really doesn't feel like Japan, but it's just as clean and tidy. You'll see many "Indians" working in convenience stores or restaurants. The island has rugged terrain and covers an area of ​​about 15 square kilometers. We took a private boat to Tokashiki Island, where we rented motorcycles to travel around the island. There are many beaches on Tokashiki Island that are like paradise, such as Tokashiku Beach and Aharen Beach. These beaches are located in a quiet bay, surrounded by rolling mountains, forming a natural protective barrier. Tokashiki Island has beautiful scenery. There are eight observation decks and two nature trails on the island, making it a great place for walking and hiking. Walking on the Mihanahara Trail, you can admire various plants and overlook the beautiful scenery of Okinawa Island in the distance. This motorcycle tour also included enjoying the spectacular views from the Zhaoshan and Jianhuayuan viewing platforms.
