[2025 Lijiang Stay] Travel Guide for Kuansu (Lijiang Ancient Town Mufu Branch) (Updated Apr)

If you're coming to Lijiang, you *have* to stay at Kuansù! Their rooms are incredibly relaxing!! As soon as we arrived, the staff greeted us warmly and even gave us complimentary afternoon tea in the courtyard. The coffee was rich and fragrant~ We were planning on going to Zhongyi Market, but we ended up skipping it. We just lounged in the courtyard, taking photos…so many Instagrammable spots! My friends were blowing up my phone asking where I was! Plus, out of all the hotels I've stayed at, this one had the most comprehensive toiletries. The upstairs rooms have balconies where you can stargaze or sip tea—super romantic, and a great way to forget your worries. It's only a ten-minute walk to Sifang Street in the ancient town. It's bustling with activity, and there are tons of pretty girls taking photos. The swing under the tree outside the hotel is also a great photo spot. Sitting among the flowers, listening to the birds, and petting the dog was pure bliss.

It's the weekend! Give your mood a break and quietly write a story that belongs only to the two of us. I revisited Stone Village on Saturday, sat on the grass by the lake, and watched the clouds slowly drift away. I slept until I woke up naturally on Sunday. The temperature was around 10 degrees, which was perfect for staying in a warm yard. The Wabi-Sabi style coexists with the ancient Naxi architecture. Kuansu is located in the ancient city of Lijiang, with a superior geographical location. The ancient atmosphere that comes to my face is refreshing, and the artistic space design brings me visual enjoyment. Comfortable, warm, peaceful and calm. Every room has a landscape window, and the leaves and yard in the frame are as beautiful as a painting. The solid wood furniture is full of texture, and the designs of smart home, tea sets, and fireplaces are comfortable and thoughtful. The window view of afternoon tea is filled with sunlight all over the body, like broken silver scattered on the ground. Hot flower cakes, steaming Yunnan black tea, and relaxing at the ancient city outside the window are all great opportunities to take a break from your busy life.

I stayed at this wabi-sabi style hotel during my trip to Lijiang. My friend and I did a lot of research before finally choosing this hotel. The building has a great texture. The reception, lobby, public areas, and building structure design all incorporate elements of traditional Naxi architecture. In the slow-paced Lijiang, you can enjoy the mountains, the water, and tea, and spend a lazy afternoon relaxing. The rooms are fully equipped. I was surprised to find that they even use Laifen hair dryers, haha. The overall experience was excellent.

This time I stayed at a homestay in Lijiang that I absolutely loved! It's called 'Kuansu' 😍 Kuansu Homestay is just a five-minute walk from the ancient city gate. As soon as you book a room, the owner will call to ask what time your flight arrives and will arrange to pick you up at the gate, even helping with your luggage! So considerate, and they also recommend various travel guides and are always ready to help with any requests. 😍 There's a swing in the yard where you can bask in the sun and drink tea. The entire homestay is adorned with beautiful flowers inside and out, so pleasing to the eye! 😍 The owner and his wife are also very nice, always greeting you when you go out or come back, and they even provide fruits 🍉🍊🫐, different ones every night!! Who can understand this, sisters!! I love it so much. 😍 The beddings in the room are so comfortable, I slept until noon every day, hahaha~ The smart toilet frees your hands, and they even thoughtfully provide disposable seat covers~ There's also a humidifier, as Yunnan is a bit dry, so considerate~ The hairdryer is from Laifen!! It's so friendly to girls 🥰 24-hour hot water, the homestay is very quiet, no worries about not sleeping well! 😍 Right outside the homestay is Yunxueli, sisters, you must try Yunxueli when you come to Yunnan, it's so delicious~ I originally planned to stay for one night, but ended up staying for three nights, hahaha, the homestay is just too comfortable!! I'm already thinking about settling down in Lijiang 🫶🏻 I will definitely stay here again when I come to Lijiang!!! Highly recommended!
