Kuang Si Waterfall is the most beautiful waterfall in Luang Prabang. It is about 40 kilometers from the city center. It is outside Luang Prabang. There are 4 levels of waterfalls, which flow directly down from the top level in the middle of the mountain. If you walk past the most beautiful point, there is a hiking trail that crosses the waterfall, like walking through a mountain. It takes about 2 hours to walk (for those who are not very fit like us). If you are good at hiking, it may take less time. The entrance fee to the waterfall is 25,000 kip per person, which is about 55 Thai baht per person. I must say that it is very worthwhile. The water is very clear. There are fish in some spots. You can swim in the water. In front of the entrance, there are many food and restaurants. You can take them to find a corner to sit and eat in the middle of the waterfall.

🌼 Dok Kaew Restaurant is a local restaurant located at the entrance of Kuang Si Waterfall. They sell som tam, grilled chicken, larb, many kinds of food, and smoothies. Most importantly, they guarantee the spiciness and deliciousness of the fish sauce. I eat Luang Prabang papaya salad every day. This restaurant is very delicious. You have to try the spiciness. If you go to the waterfall, don't forget to stop by before you go back. The rice is a big pot. We ate with 2 friends and still couldn't finish it. They gave us a lot of everything. The price is friendly. This meal cost about 100,000 kip. It's easy. I feel very rich after eating rice worth a hundred thousand. If you convert it to Thai baht, it's about 200 baht. Luang Prabang, Laos is a world heritage city with the most beautiful waterfalls, Tat Kuang Si Waterfalls, with emerald green water and lush green trees. We rented a car for a one-day trip and were picked up at our accommodation. Then we traveled to the waterfall, which is about 39 kilometers from Luang Prabang. It didn't take long to get there by car. The waterfall area is very shady. The walkway is convenient. There are shops, restaurants, and places to eat and play in the water. The highlight is the 4-tiered limestone waterfall, emerald green, very beautiful.
