Malaysia is one of my favorites go to place because of its unique culture and cheaper foods. You will greatly amazed this tall Petronas Twin Tower with its magnificient and elegant feature of its structure right in the city center.
You will have an adventure climbing the stairs to see the Batu Caves and learn its historic story.
Also, enjoy your tour around the city with their half-day city tour with a minimal fee.

#timetotravel
A highly recommended place to visit at KL’s China Town. “Fung Wong” is a cafe on Jalan Sultan in Kuala Lumpur is a 113-year-old Chinese pastry establishment repackaged for modern times. Fung Wong is selling various of chinese style biscuits & cake with a unique name that some i haven’t heard of before 😂
I ordered:
🧁Salted Egg Lotus Pastry: highly recommend!! the taste is like the mooncake but even better! what i like is this pastry is not too sweet.
⁉️Husband Pastry: such an unique name😂 but the taste is also good!
🤩BBQ Pork Bun: besides salted egg lotus pastry, this is my favorite too✌🏻
🍳Century Egg Pastry: just so so for me😁
PS: i suggest to not come in the morning bcs some of the pastries are not ready till 10AM

Pretended to be Turkish concubines @hammamspa.my for a couple of hours. (The package is called My Favourite Concubine! 🤭) Was properly scrubbed, slathered with honey, and covered in bubbles, all on a slab of marble! The pampering ended with a relaxing essential oil massage on a heated bed that lulled me to sleep…

Saloma Link Bridge
#wecreate
I’ve been wanting to visit Saloma Link Bridge ever since it opened to the public in early February 2020. 69m long, it is beautifully designed with a betel leaf arrangement and provides a much shorter journey of just 10 minutes on foot from Kampung Baru to KLCC. That morning, we enjoyed the pleasant walk across this pedestrian bridge sans the rush hour crowd and arrived at the Petronas Twin Towers in no time.

Visiting Batu Caves before sunrise
#kualalumpur
#wecreate
Avoiding the tourist masses and unbearable heat at the Batu Caves was our topmost priority, so again we headed out before daybreak and easily reached our destination just as the sun began to rise.
One of the most popular attractions in Kuala Lumpur, the Batu Caves lie among limestone hills in the district of Gombak, and is an interesting combination of natural landscape with vibrant-coloured Hindu temples that attract huge crowds of pilgrims especially during the Thaipusam festival.
Climbing the flights of rainbow 🌈 stairs at 7am, we were the first few tourists to enjoy the serenity of our surroundings, an experience during the golden hour. Even the monkeys hadn’t awoken - we saw them in action only on our way down! 😂

You gotta check out these Chewy cookies!
I was skeptical passing by this shop at MyTown shopping mall but my husbae wanted one anyways. He bought the classic chocochip and after walking away and had one bite each, we made a u-turn back to the shop to buy more! It was YUM-MY. Kid you not! Its not the typical subway cookies yummy - these are chewy. Then it crumbles in the mouth after few munches and that got me there.
I wished I have tried other flavours but I was scared that if I bring it home (back to Singapore), it won’t taste the same.
So, will definitely bring my tupperware back here to get more of these yummy cookeys!
Saw that they sell milkshakes too but we were too full to get a malty drink.

Best for Instagrammers ☕️ Kafe Kleptokrat KL
Address - 18, Jalan Tun H S Lee, City Centre , 50100, Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutan.
Ambiance/Facilities - Antique
Highlights - Kafe with a pool
Avg. Price per Person - RM30-RM50
Rating - Good
A good selection of local cuisine in Malaysia (plenty of vegan options too) all plated very aesthetically so it’s very nice for social media content and also the interior of this cafe is amazing! It’s a hidden gem in KL. Recommend to go there by cab as it is very hard to find parking around that area. The parking also quite cosy as not worth it. 😂
The place also has a nice pool in the middle of the restaurant and it’s open air. Awesome vibes.
One of my favorite places that I urge everyone to go check out for instagrammers not to missed this out!
If you want a better seat is just beside the pool side, need to do reservation in advance and request them to arrange for you. They will try their best to arrange for you, but please don't fall into the pool🙏😁
The surroundings were very calming, soft chatter in the background, sound of flowing water 🚿 You can request to sit upstairs as well because they are double storey cafe.

Beautiful Old Station
#celebratewithtrip
Kuala Lumpur station construction began in 1910 and was fully completed in 1917. The station is located at 110, Jalan Sultan Hishamuddin, City Centre, 50000 Kuala Lumpur.
The station is also located close to the similarly designed Railway Administration Building. The original platform of the station retain older architectural elements, such as the large steel-famed pitched roofed train shed.
Ticket counters and faregates were added in 1995 to the station. There is a passenger information system in front of the ticket counter. Ticket machine is also available at the station.
There is a restaurant beside the station for you, while you are waiting for your train departure.

Haunted Place
This Kuala Lumpur Railway Station seems haunted to me. Poor. Outdated. Abandoned. The KTMB administrator that runs the station seems to have lost their priority since less emphasis is given for keeping and maintaining this place, this place is not being look after properly.
The cleanliness of the toilets are questionable. Sorry the way things are being run, I think this place deserved better treatment given the historical values it carries. Don't let it goes to waste. Thumbs if i was right.

Station AGE more than a Century OLD
Some said it was stand since 1910, but the truth is was since year 1886 long during British era. Then on 1986, we did some renovations inc. installing some AC, washroom, ticket counter etc. till 2001 the KL Sentral started took place slowly.

Kuala Lumpur City · Old Railway Station Travel Guide
🌈Highlights:
Kuala Lumpur Old Railway Station, once hailed as the most beautiful railway station in the world, is also a very iconic building in Kuala Lumpur. This century-old railway station is still in operation, and stepping inside gives a sense of time travel. Although the station is now very dilapidated and poorly managed, with fewer and fewer passengers using it, its glory is undeniable. Through the retro bricks and tiles, it seems you can still see the hustle and bustle of the past.
This old railway station now requires a train ticket to enter, not just for casual visits. You can ask the staff to buy the cheapest ticket or if you are really transferring from Kuala Lumpur to a city like Penang, you can go in and take some photos of the platform 🚉
🎟️Ticket Information:
Buying the cheapest train ticket to take photos on the platform costs about 1 MYR.
🕐️Opening Hours:
Monday to Sunday, exterior photos can be taken all day, platform photos depend on the train schedule.
💗Other Tips:
If you go to the platform, make sure not to evade the ticket. Don't follow some guides that suggest taking a detour to the back. If caught, it can be very troublesome❗

a national heritage is not maintained well. this is the Kuala lumpur train station. it's very hard to reach by walk and it is empty. only a komuter line arrives here some time. I think it was built during British occupation but it is not even maintained. #kualalumpur

Kuala Lumpur | Old Railway Station
The Old Railway Station. The Kuala Lumpur Old Railway Station, located near Jalan Petaling, is a major railway hub in Kuala Lumpur and a historic building that showcases the architectural style of the British Malayan colonial era. The station was designed by British architect Arthur Benison Hubback and is a Moorish-style building that incorporates the popular Eastern and Western design styles of the time, featuring beautiful arch domes that are simple without any decoration, offering a unique aesthetic. The ground floor has horseshoe-shaped arches, giving it a Byzantine wonderland feel. The entire station's design resembles a square castle, with the train tracks in the middle and 'city gates' on either side for trains to enter and exit. The station is a landmark building in Kuala Lumpur and also a popular spot for taking photos. Many travelers to Malaysia make a special trip to visit the Old Railway Station after arriving in Kuala Lumpur, as if traveling back to bygone days. Here, they can indulge in nostalgia, take photos, and even take a train that passes through, experiencing the sensation of walking through the ancient turnstiles.
