Food Haven in KLIA Terminal 2
#familytrips2024 #awesomepic #deliciousfood
If anyone having few hours transit in Kuala Lumpur Airport regardless if you are at Terminal 1 (T1) or Terminal 2 (T2) but interested in enjoying good food, I would definitely recommend you to check out KLIA T2 on level 3 (departure). There are so many good food stores that actually available over here. From local brand drinks to international brand drinks, from Ipoh culinery to Thailand Cuisine, and from local Malaysian kuih muih to Turkish delights, all were amazing. Tons of option to choose from. We had this amazing Thai beef noodle last time with some pandan coconut juice and it was superb! I am actually thinking of just visiting the airport soon, just so I can have it again. But, if you are in T1, take a free shuttle from level 1 to T2 (this goes both ways). Enjoy your food hunting!
Viana’s Journey
Experience the hospitality of Malaysia and start a comfortable journey from here
Experience the hospitality of Malaysia and start a comfortable journey from here
Escape the hustle and bustle on your holiday, get away from mobile signals, and choose an island resort to retreat from the world. Malaysia's high-end niche resorts are a top choice for a vacation getaway.
Flying with Malaysia Airlines is the best choice for traveling to Malaysia and the surrounding regions. In terms of flights to China, Malaysia Airlines operates 33 routes to 11 destinations in China.
The flight times from mainland China to Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia, are very convenient, which is a great time-saver for the precious holidays of working people.
Compared to other airlines, the seats and entertainment facilities are more comfortable. The planes are equipped with audio-visual entertainment systems, offering a wide range of movies and TV programs to watch. In-cabin WiFi has been added, and it's surprisingly free throughout the entire cabin, allowing work and entertainment without missing a beat, meeting the diverse needs of more passengers.
Malaysia Airlines' meals have always been popular. Satay is a traditional Malay dish, made of marinated beef, lamb, or chicken skewered and grilled over a moderate flame, then dipped in a thick layer of satay sauce. Satay has become an excellent feature of Malaysia Airlines' hospitality, with fresh ingredients and made daily. Business class also offers local specialties such as satay Indonesian fried rice, Hainanese chicken rice, and Nyonya curry fish.
Malaysia Airlines has opened a newly built VIP lounge. The design concept of the new VIP room inherits from Malaysian cultural heritage, blending Malaysian culture, art, cuisine, and architectural design elements, and condenses the warmth and hospitality of Malaysia in an authentic and modern way.
On the plane, choose a window seat. Whether it's the buildings flashing by during takeoff, the city unfolding from parts to the whole during ascent, or the later magnificent mountains, beautiful islands, endless deserts, and continuous forests, the constantly changing scenery always keeps one excited. Even when flying into the clouds, watching the various clouds crawl slowly at different heights, the mood becomes peaceful.

Christmas decorations at Kuala Lumpur Airport
#christmastrip #klia2 #malaysia
Went to Malaysia for a hot Christmas. Quite surprised that I was greeted by some decorations at Kuala Lumpur Airport Terminal 2.
While it is a terminal for budget airlines, the facilities are still up to standard and there are a lot of shopping options.
It is also convenient to go to Kuala Lumpur City centre and other tourist cities like Malacca via trains / coaches.

KLIA arrival food
#kualalumpur super budget lunch/dinner at the airport. Arrived quite late in the afternoon, I haven't had any meal yet so decided to eat at airport before heading out. Chance upon this local food stall where I saw many sit down here either to drink coffee or for a meal.
Turn out to be very affordable meal indeed. For the price of less than RM 15, I get my nasi lemak and huge cup of coffee. I love how generous they are in the portion.
If you need quick lunch/dinner fix, do head on to this place!

KLIA: Gateway to Global Horizons
#happymalaysiaday
In Kuala Lumpur's embrace, a gateway unfolds,
International Airport, where stories are told.
A door to the world, wide and inviting,
Welcoming travelers with hearts alighting.
Skies stretch above, a canvas so grand,
KLIA, the portal to destinations unplanned.
Echoes of languages, a global symphony,
Where cultures converge, a harmonious melody.
Wings of steel, birds of the sky,
In KLIA, they gracefully fly.
A bustling nexus of journeys untold,
A kaleidoscope of stories to unfold.
Visitors arrive with dreams on their sleeve,
KLIA, the city's embrace, never to deceive.
A mosaic of faces, a myriad of tales,
In this vibrant gateway where adventure prevails.
Amidst the terminals, a dance of connection,
A fusion of cultures, a global reflection.
Kuala Lumpur's heart, beats in the air,
In KLIA's halls, a welcome so rare.
Through the doors of opportunity wide,
Visitors step with wonder and pride.
Kuala Lumpur International, a beacon so bright,
Guiding the world through day and night.

Location: Travel Club Lounge
Klia Satelite A Building, Klia Departure, Kuala Lumpur International Airport, 64000 Sepang, Selangor
In KLIA's embrace, where travelers unite,
I find solace and joy in the Lounge's soft light.
Satellite Terminal, a haven of grace,
Where I savor each moment in this comforting space.
Ambiance, a symphony of tranquil delight,
Whispers of journeys in the soft evening light.
The Travel Club Lounge, a sanctuary of reprieve,
Where time slows down, and worries take leave.
With laptop in hand, I work with delight,
Surrounded by elegance, a traveler's respite.
A feast for my senses, the food so divine,
In each delectable bite, a taste of the sublime.
Oh, Travel Club Lounge, you enchanting abode,
Where productivity thrives and relaxation is stowed.
Yet, a humble suggestion, a wish to implore,
Shower facilities, a touch to adore.
In this oasis aloft, where dreams take to flight,
I linger a while, in the Lounge's warm light.
With gratitude in heart, and a smile on my face,
KLIA's Travel Club Lounge, my serene resting place.

Where to grab a bite in KLIA
Many international flights fly in and out of KLIA Terminal 1, so it is good to know the various dining options available if you are travelling or transiting there! My favourite go-to comfort food whenever I’m overseas is McDonald’s because I know it will always be good. Another good option is Costa Coffee is you just need to grab a small bite, like a sandwich or croissant with some coffee or tea. Alternatively, if you’re looking for some sweet local treats, Zaitown is a standalone stall that can satisfy those cravings. The best part is that you can takeaway food from go your preferred stall and slowly enjoy it while waiting for your plane in the final waiting area!
My overall rating of the experience: 4 out of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It is high value to experience the business class of Thai Airways, also has been called Royal Silk class. Now the class has good check in desk that only for business class.
And the lounge is good that you could enjoy different types of cuisines there. I am really like the 1-2-1 class that I could have my private area and enjoy the flight moments. Most vitally, the inflight cuisine is nice that with good sparking wine. Always drank too much in this flight.

Golden Lounge@KLIA Malaysia
Flying out from KLIA on Malaysia Airlines and had a chance to use their Golden Lounge. The entrance to the lounge is well decorated using Orchid which is very nice. The staffs at the reception and food counters are very friendly and provide very good services. The food and beverages selection is also good. There good meals being prepared on the spot if you like. They have included a section with kebabs warps which is very nice. Had a wonderful time here just before my flight.

Relaxing transit to start for a holiday
CAPSULE Hotel - its a cubicle accomodation thus the given name. Check in at the reception - given cubicle no, a bag contained towel, tooth brush and drinking water. You find your way (with instruction from the receptionist) to find your cubicle. The hotel provide basic needs to sleep, to relax, to charge your phone with an ample privacy space. Have clean toilets with overall trailer like concept , a small library with load of books that you can rent and a small pantry for self service coffee or tea. Provided locker for larger suitcase so not to cramp your sleeping cubicle. Nice experience, feels safe and worth it.

Golden Lounge @ KLIA Malaysia
Visited Malaysia Airlines Golden Lounge at KLIA Malaysia. Quite impressed with the decorations at the entrance. The lounge is relatively big in size. There is section for food and beverage and the choice selection is quite wide. They even have a bar section and there are also serving wine and liquor. The two pots of orchid in display really capture my attention., very well placed and bring out the braiding it. The rest of the resting area provided sufficient power point for charging etc. There is also separate room for napping.

Fly to Kuala Lumpur with Malaysia Airlines

#KLIA
I recently went to Kuala Lumpur last time at the end of February. I have some experiences to share.
This flight departed from Suvarnabhumi in the afternoon. It took 2 hours to arrive at KLIA1.
Every seat was full. I didn't dare to take pictures inside the plane because it would include other people's faces. I sat by the aisle. The next two seats were Africans. They were fidgeting and bumping their arms into mine throughout the flight. I was a bit annoyed but I forgave them because the seats were quite narrow. Even though I'm small, I felt cramped.
I like the safety demonstration video that was made into a fun MV.
The staff gave out headphones to every seat. I've watched all the old movies. I didn't really like the music I listened to.
The food was quite small. I couldn't eat my fill. There were no alcoholic drinks. It was a bit disappointing.
But what impressed me was the Sattlelite Terminal. Even though I've been there before, I was still amazed. It was beautiful. There was a garden in the middle of the building. Even though it was old, it looked new. I could compare it to Suvarnabhumi.
Even though Malaysia Airlines' in-flight service couldn't compete with Thai Airways, their airport is good. I accept this one.

Dine at Din Tai Fung at KLIA Malaysia
Was at Kuala Lumpur International airport and decided to eat at Din Tai Fung before my flight home. This is a halal restaurant. The menu is pretty much the same compared to the regular outlets other than no pork and substitute with chicken meat. The service was average as the restaurant was pretty crowded but serving staff was insufficient. In addition, there are also a couple of items in the menu which is unavailable. End up trying trying their fried chickens and prawn dumplings which was a barge taste. This restaurant only charge SST of 6% and no service charge.

Batik Air OD2108 Penang
#AirlineReview Batik Air, a Malaysian airline that has flights within Malaysia and flights to international regions. Flight OD 2108 from Kuala Lumpur International Airport KLIA departs for Penang International Airport, taking only 30 minutes. This airline provides free baggage allowance of 15 kilograms for domestic flights. There is no meal service, but there is a menu and food is sold to passengers. This flight uses a Boeing B 737-800 aircraft, departing from some districts on time. The staff are friendly and polite, and the ticket price is not expensive. #wattosann

Largest Airport in Malaysia
KLIA is the largest and busiest airport in Malaysia, located in Sepang District of Selangor, approximately 45 km south of Kuala Lumpur. KLIA transit takes approximately 35 minutes to reach Kuala Lumpur.
The check in area is fast, there are a number of restaurants, cafes and shops. After the passport control, you will see the duty free shops, and some luxury brands.
If you want to go to the Plaza lounge, you have to take the aerotrain to Gate C, and proceed to level 2, the lounge is just above C11.

Great to have a coffee place to chill for a drink and refreshment bakery !!
This outlet is huge with a seating of 100pax ( my estimation) which is almost double of the usual size.
Besides the coffee and bakery snacks you can do the last minute shopping for their thermo mugs 🍺

KLIA 2❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
KLIA 2 is really the territory of AirAsia. 🤭 You can spotted all "red" plane park alongside the track after your plane landing.
The airport environment is clean & some say cozy 😉 as the area is wide & bright. Since the desolate period due to Covid, currently entering the endemic, you can see the travel pace slowly recover when this place starts crowded with people all around the world.
Upon arrival, although the airport is quite big, just follow the notice board to proceed to baggage collection. Everythings is simple & easy.

Also, you can find various food & beverage shops, waiting area, public concourse, and giant flight display monitor at the Departure Hall.
The check-in counters will be opened three hours before scheduled departure time, and will be closed one hour before scheduled departure time.

I just happened to stumble onto this new-looking cafe at KLIA2 while waiting for a friend. Since another friend of mine wanted to try its yummy-looking coffee, we decided to dine in. Yeap.. the cafe was empty. I had 2nd thought about this cafe at first.. since the first item that we received doesn’t looked like how it was supposed to be (ordered a croissant but what came to me looked like some sort of a bun).. other food came as candies to my eyes 😍 Food were fairly delicious (love the meatballs & the salted egg fried chicken bites with cheese) and what most are the drinks. I had avocado latte and my friend had this unique 3-kind drink which was a tea-coffee-cham topped with their choco crunch thingee. If you guys drop by our Kuala Lumpur International Airport 2, feel free to try this cafe which situated at level 3 (departure), just beside the POP cafe.
