[Albania] Kruja Old Bazaar
Krujë Old Bazaar is a fascinating place where Albanian history and culture are strongly felt. It is about an hour's bus ride from Tirana and is located in the old town of Krujë, also known as the hometown of Albanian hero Gjergj Kastrioti.
This bazaar features traditional houses and shops lined up along cobblestone streets, giving visitors a sense of the old Albanian way of life. With colorful handicrafts, wooden items, and local specialties, you can not only enjoy shopping but also experience Albanian culture. While window shopping, many old men and women in the shops will talk to you, and they are all very warm.
You can get from Tirana to Krujë by minibus from Tirana's bus station. Traveling by car is also convenient, with a comfortable drive of about 30 kilometers, crossing the mountains and enjoying the scenery before arriving in Krujë.
