Mosaic
Explore the aesthetics of the diversity of contemporary art through the perspectives of 11 artists with the exhibition "Mosaic"
When it comes to Mosaic, we often think of the art of arranging small pieces of materials such as tiles, stones, glass, ceramics or various colored materials and attaching them to a surface to create an image or pattern. The beauty of Mosaic comes from collecting small details and strung them together meaningfully, resulting in works that both communicate and are tangible, both visually and emotionally.
For the "Mosaic" exhibition, the works of 11 artists are displayed: Kowit Wattanarat, Ong-art Lohamornpaksin, Kittisak Thepko, Pat Yingcharoen, Kongpop Benjanirat, Nattawut Chumanowattana, Tinpat Takruea, Thanchanok Phalakulsantikorn, Phudungthap Prachanan, Phachon Piyasongsut, Thiraphon Seesang, each of whom has a different way of thinking, technique and inspiration. It is like bringing together tiles with unique colors, sizes, and textures to create a big picture full of life and aesthetic diversity.
The exhibition will display artworks that reflect different perspectives, whether they are satirical paintings, philosophical paintings, paintings that borrow Victorian art language to create new meanings, works that reflect morality, landscape paintings that connect death, silence, and mental journeys, or works that question the Thai middle class in the capitalist era. Walking through the artwork is like slowly looking into a mosaic piece by piece, and gradually seeing the big picture.
Come explore the perspectives and find the aesthetics in diversity at the "Mosaic" exhibition.
